Arriving to The Skarvold Family

Lucon traveled for several days and several nights. It seems that the discovery of how to fully use Prana has boosted his body to a certain extent, since he had never felt sleepy during the entire walk or even felt tired. Or it was due to him eating a Blue Eye. He didn't know and for right now he didn't care. All he cared about right now was just arriving in the city that Vallen talked about.

Lucon opened the satchel he had slung on his back and pulled out the Prana Center. He turned it on and saw the blue arrow pointing in front of him still. He sighed as he put it away and just continued walking.

Lucon closed his eyes as he continued walking, letting the motion of his body moving continue his travel. During this time he contemplated several things he was told by the being and what he had experienced in the past. The first thing was what that being said about Prana, or more specifically its second function. Its ability to give its wielder a ability that correlates to their WILL.

Lucon had contemplated what his ability would be since his current goal that he wants to achieve in this world is to just have fun and do whatever he wants. Would his ability be that of immortality? Maybe the ability to become stronger over time? Or perhaps the ability to just be able to do whatever he wants?

"What was Vallen's ability anyways?" Lucon mumbled as he tried to recall any memory of any moments that would show Vallen using anything similar to that of an ability granted by Prana.

The only thing Lucon could think of was when he had made it out of the collapsed building and when he was determined to kill Vallen then. He remembered the feather from Vallen's cloak coming out and flying towards him. Then he suddenly felt tired and then that was it.

"I don't understand what his ability or will is, all that I know is that it's somehow related to feathers or at least the ability to move those feathers" Lucon said as he looked at the handle of his blade. He stared at it for a moment before chuckling for a bit, "man I had the weirdest idea, but it's a good idea to do if I want to pass the time."

Vallen drew his blade from the scabbard. The blade's chipped and battered appearance showed itself to the world. "You know, even though I will probably use a different blade once I make it to the city, I might as well give you your name," Lucon said as he held the blade in his hand and examined it.

He hummed as he continued walking. He mumbled some names for a bit, some sounding horrible while others sounding good. He continued muttering names out before becoming frustrated, "ah screw it, I can't figure out a good name for you and I don't even know if I will even keep you. How about I just call you Entropy, yeah it suits you since I couldn't figure out your name nor can I decide if I should keep you or not."

Lucon smiled as he stared at Entropy. He flowed his Prana through the blade and a surge of purple flames coated it. Lucon slashed at the surroundings a bit, watching as a purple slash would fly through the air and hit the ground or nearby trees and rocks. He kept swinging his blade as he continued walking, reason being it was a good way to practice his control over his Prana and also because it was cool to see the slashes fly and hit something.

Though, he was a bit disappointed that the slashes only cut a bit deep into the target's body and not all the way through. But he could only blame himself since it was his control over his Prana that stopped him from cutting the trees in half and cutting the ground into several pieces.

As he walked and slashed, he soon began to notice something in the distance. He could see, what looked like, a wall made of wood and several buildings inside. He wasn't too sure though since he was several miles away and he could just be seeing a bunch of dead trees just grouped up together.

Suddenly an idea popped into Lucon's head as he looked at Entropy and just grinned, "I mean, from this distance all I can see are just a giant bundle of something together and I am curious how far my slashes can go. Especially the slashes that are fully charged with my Prana."

Lucon sheathed Entropy into his scabbard before bending his body and hovering his hand over Entropies handle. He focused his eyes on the target as he allowed Prana to build up in his body, causing a purple flame to surround and coat itself on his body. He closed his eyes as he breathed out steadily as his Prana moved towards the hovering hand and breathed back in.

Suddenly he opened his eyes wide and grabbed the Entropies handle. His Prana surged towards Entropie's blade, as he drew the blade, purple flames surged and quickly coated the blade in purple flames. As he quickly drew his blade, all he could do was enjoy the rush he felt from drawing his blade and just smiling with the rush in his brain.

When he fully drew his blade out, a purple curved slash soared through the air at high speeds towards the giant bundle. The slash moved the snow in its path and cut everything that got in its way.

At the said city, Vallen could be sitting inside a building made of wood, in front of a wooden desk looking at piles upon piles of paper. Some were just simple papers from the families accusing his family of raiding or butchering the villages that they had set up with no proof at all. The only evidence they had was that they were in his path to his land and that was it.

"I mean sure, I did slaughter Lucon's village, but these other ones were caused by bandits or those other heads. Sheesh, they are so annoying" Vallen thought as he just sighed and put the paper he had in his hand onto a pile of paper that had the signature of the other families on them.

"Man," Vallen said as he slumped on his table, the stresses of work visible on his face, "I hope something interesting happens today."

"!!!"

Vallen suddenly stood up as he quickly left the building he was in and went outside. When he got outside, he quickly looked in one single direction and began to rush towards it. As he rushed, he noticed several people also rushing to the wall. Of the group, he recognized two people immediately.

The first was a young man at the age of fifteen. He had a dark hair color that was long and rough. He wore his iconic white animal cloak, that had a black stripes on the back of it, that he had personally made from a Frost Horn Ape he had hunted by himself. Underneath the cloak he wore a red shirt and brown pants that were too worn out, but still had some rough appearance. He wore leather boots that were made from the pelt of said Frost Horn Ape as well as white gloves also made from said ape. His eyes were purple and his iris was golden. His body was buff, but not too buff, it was teetering on the skinny side. His face resembled that of Vallen, the only difference was that he had no scar on his face.

The second person was a young girl at the age of eleven. She had long dark rough hair similar to the young man. But unlike the young man, she wore a cloak made out of white feathers and wore a blue shirt and blue pants. She wore leather boots that were white and had a pair of blue leather gloves on her hands. She had purple eyes and golden irises like Vallen and the young man.

The young man was covered in green and golden flames that covered his body, while the young girl was running through the snow, barely able to catch up to the group.

Seeing the two, Vallen shouted at the two "Freya, head back home, you don't have your Prana awakened yet! Eirik, be prepared for anything!"

The young girl, Freya, whined before turning around and running away. While the young man, Eirik, just nodded as he pulled the spear from his back and held it in his hand, "yes father!"

Vallen just nodded his head as he was soon covered in black flames that covered him from head to toe. The feathers on his cloak began to expand before a pair of dark wings made of a bundle of dark feathers, that were on his cloak, manifested itself as he began to soar up into the sky. As he soared up, he examined the spot he had sensed a great deal of energy.

At first, he believed it was an attack from a bandit, that was really just one of the families playing as a group of bandits. But when he looked to see who the energy came from, his eyes widened. He saw a familiar charred skin individual standing miles away from his city. He was slouched forward and had his hand hovering above a blade that was sheathed on his left side.

"Lucon," Vallen said, surprised. He was not surprised by Lucon being there or anything, but was in truth surprised by the amount of Prana that was emanating from that young man. From the amount of Prana surging from his body alone, he believed it was on par with a man somewhere in his twenties who had trained with Prana for five or so years. Yet, there he was, standing there and emanating Prana after a couple of months in the mountains doing whatever he was doing.

The sight made Vallen just smile and feel a sense of pride in his chest. The last time he had seen him, Lucon was only able to emit small purple flames on his body, but now he was able to coat himself in it. It was like he was watching a child of his grow up and do something breathtaking.

"!!!"

But Vallen couldn't stay proud for long, since Lucon just grabbed his sword handle and just launched a purple slash towards the city walls. From its power, it wouldn't be able to harm anyone, but it sure as hell would be able to damage the walls pretty badly.

Vallen reacted quickly as he dove down from the skies and landed in front of the blades line of movement. Vallen raised both his hands up, as the dark flames around his body began to surge from his hands and out to the open air. Slowly these flames began to change and mold before taking the appearance of the black feathers that made Vallen's cloak.

These feathers began to float in the air for a moment before they quickly began to float in a circle, like that of a vortex, and quickly made a giant shield made of feathers that floated in front of Vallen. Vallen, though blinded by his feathers, watched as the slash continued charging towards the wall. Vallen watched with anticipation. The anticipation wasn't one of fear or of anger, but excitement.

Vallen grinned as he waited for the slash to reach his shield and clash it head on. Soon the slash was upon him, as the snow in front of it parted for the slash. The ground beneath it was cut deep, not deep enough to be physically seen, but deep enough to know it was cut.

Vallen grinned as he stood there, watching the slash that was just inches away from his feather made shield. Just as the two objects were about to clash, the slash suddenly dissipated. Vallen stood there, not moving or breathing for several moments.

"... what!" Vallen said shocked and disappointed, mainly disappointed. His shield began to fall onto the ground, slowly crumbling away. The black feathers slowly began to burn away or disintegrate from existence, but Vallen didn't care about that. What he cared about right now was why the slash disappeared.

Vallen walked past the feathers and towards the person in the distance. As Vallen walked, he could see Eirik, and the rest of the group, standing on the city wall. They all looked at him, waiting for an answer.

Vallen, as he continued walking, just sighed before waving his left hand into the air, "just stay there while I bring the guest of honor back."

Without waiting for a reply, Vallen just flapped the dark bundle of feathers on his back and flew towards Lucon. As he flew, he just had one thought in his mind, "anticlimactic."
