Chapter 107: A Growing Threat

Back at the resistance headquarters, the team regrouped. The underground base was abuzz with activity as engineers, soldiers, and strategists worked tirelessly. Every successful mission against Solas's infrastructure brought them one step closer to preventing the world from plunging into chaos—but each new discovery seemed to expose just how vast Solas's influence still was.

"We've identified at least five more nodes based on the data we extracted from the last facility," Zane said, pulling up a digital map. "They're scattered across multiple continents—Asia, South America, Europe. It's going to take everything we've got to hit them before Solas's loyalists do."

Nyla glanced at the map. "We need to divide our forces. If we hit them one by one, we'll be too slow. Solas's followers will have time to regroup."

General Aria frowned. "It's a risk. If we spread our forces too thin, we could be outmatched at any one of those nodes."

"We don't have a choice," Nyla said. "The longer we wait, the more likely someone else will activate these systems."

Zane pulled up more data on his screen. "We've already picked up chatter from Solas's loyalist factions. They're on the move, and they're targeting the same nodes we are. They think they can reactivate them."

General Aria's jaw tightened. "Then we'll just have to beat them to it. We can't let them gain control of even one."

Nyla nodded. "Let's move. We hit them all at once."
