Humanity is doomed unless he and others like himself rise up against the endless hordes of demons and find a way to close the gates of Hél, but is it worth the sacrifice? 

Will he willingly save the very people who turned their backs on him, or will he choose the ever-widening path of darkness and become what they all fear he will?

"What do I need to do to prove myself?"

A day had passed inside of the facility, the four had been subjected to nothing but tests and unlike the first day that had a late start, they were inside of the gymnasium from sunrise to sunset, across every machine over and over again.

Even Kai had reached his limit after going at it all day without anything but water, and at the end of their day they were treated to a large meal, which was when Fritz had ambushed him with the question, standing over on his side of the table and staring down at him.

"What are you talking about?" Kai took a deep breath, turning from Andrew and Ava and staring up at him. "Can't you see I'm eating?"

"I'm talking about what you said last night, It's been eating at me all day, you see me as an enemy-"

"Don't take that personally, I see everyone as an enemy," Kai scoffed and looked at his food again. "Forget it and move on, I won't ever trust you, nothing will change that."
