"Are they always like this?" Fritz asked, fidgeting in his seat across the table with Andrew next to him, both watching Ava snugly sitting between Kai's legs on their bunk in the corner, eating while he stared at them as well.
"Pretty much, yeah," Andrew answered, also staring awkwardly with his empty plate.
"Do we have a problem?" Kai asked, not breaking eye contact with the man.
"None," Fritz pouted and turned his head.
"We do have a dinner table, you know," Andrew annunced what the man was too timid to say.
"I have eaten like this for a while now, I like it this way." Ava answered before Kai could say anything else.
"I don't mind either," Kai admitted, resting his hand on Ava's head and patting it several times. "Hey, Fritz."
"What is it?" The man turned again.
