Humanity is doomed unless he and others like himself rise up against the endless hordes of demons and find a way to close the gates of Hél, but is it worth the sacrifice? 

Will he willingly save the very people who turned their backs on him, or will he choose the ever-widening path of darkness and become what they all fear he will?

"Kai?" The teacher walked forward. "What happened, have you already been in another fight?" The woman asked.

"Can I have a moment before you ask anything else?" Sashi intervened, taking Kai by his shoulder and pulling him away before he snapped at the girl who had called him little.

"Hey, that was the shadow's doing, right?" He asked.

"I've seen Shinsuke act the same in the past, I know what a conversation with an occupant looks like, if he's acting up, tell me now, I can't guarantee the safety of the students and teachers if I have to subdue you here."

"I'm fine, he was just being a bitch." Kai shrugged off the man's hand and turned to the students and teacher again.

"Is everything okay?" The woman asked once more.

"Yes ma'am," Sashi stood at attention and nodded. "He's also a Vessel, so..."
