In an attempt to escape his hellish fate, Kai is forced to tread a grey area where there are few allies and all sides view him as a tool or an enemy, relying on the presence of one girl who chose him above all else to keep himself from falling into despair and insanity. 

Humanity is doomed unless he and others like himself rise up against the endless hordes of demons and find a way to close the gates of Hél, but is it worth the sacrifice? 

Will he willingly save the very people who turned their backs on him, or will he choose the ever-widening path of darkness and become what they all fear he will?

"I wonder how much force is too much..." Kai looked down at his fist and then at his opponent. "I'd hate to accidentally kill someone,"

"Are you being serious?" Sashi asked, narrowing his eyes warily after that expression from the grey eyed young man.

"No, not really, I don't care how hard I hit them, You already told me that they can handle it, so I don't need to tread like I have been since I discovered my strength," Kai chuckled, almost bursting into laughter when he looked at the student again.

"Is this kid even sane?" Sashi thought, shaking his head at a loss of further thoughts.

"So, what's your skill gonna be, fire again?" Kai asked, falling into the simplest fighting stance.

"Fire is the most common of the elements to master, do I look like some random nobody to you?" The guy asked, crackling his knuckles and glancing behind himself at Jez who was being escorted out of the auditorium by some other students.
