In an attempt to escape his hellish fate, Kai is forced to tread a grey area where there are few allies and all sides view him as a tool or an enemy, relying on the presence of one girl who chose him above all else to keep himself from falling into despair and insanity. 

Humanity is doomed unless he and others like himself rise up against the endless hordes of demons and find a way to close the gates of Hél, but is it worth the sacrifice? 

Will he willingly save the very people who turned their backs on him, or will he choose the ever-widening path of darkness and become what they all fear he will?

"Then use me as a demonstration and allow my students to observe and take notes, if they choose to challenge you afterwards it will be with a different mindset than the one they currently have." The kind teacher raised her hand, approaching them.

"Sashi, stand down," She glared at him. "Kai needs to fulfill his duty to be of use otherwise he will be sent back to the facilities, and I am merely giving my class a lesson by participating in this exercise, do you understand?" She stared at them both.

"Alrigth then," Kai took several steps away from the woman and fell into stance. "I'll treat you as if you were a demon that I have to kill, prepare yourself."
