"After fighting monsters for so many years, have you never encountered similar abilities?"
Bushidrill froze in shock.
Sonic's fist slammed into his stomach, sending waves of agony through his organs as though they were being torn apart.
Bushidrill crumpled to the ground, clutching his body.
Okamaitachi, surrounded by two clones, held on for as long as he could but eventually collapsed from blood loss.
"All three are down. This should appease Master."
Sonic and his clones hoisted Iaian and the others over their shoulders and disappeared into the basement entrance.
---
The next morning.
The Hero Association headquarters was in complete chaos.
In the conference room, the board members and advisors were arguing heatedly.
Four heroes were missing: Hellish Blizzard, Iaian, Okamaitachi, and Bushidrill. Among them, three were top-five A-class heroes.
If word got out, the Hero Association's reputation would take a severe hit.
More importantly, these heroes had close ties to S-class heroes.
Iaian, Okamaitachi, and Bushidrill were disciples of S-class Rank 4 hero Atomic Samurai.
And Hellish Blizzard? She was the younger sister of S-class Rank 2 hero Tornado of Terror.
Atomic Samurai might be reasonable, but Tornado was the association's poster child. With the Rank 1 hero Blast missing in action, she was their strongest trump card.
Most dragon-level monsters featured in the news were dealt with single-handedly by Tornado.
The consequences of crossing her were unthinkable.
To put it bluntly, the Hero Association could lose half its strength over this.
"What's going on with the House of Evolution? Didn't we already send someone to clean them out? Why are there still remnants?"
"Apparently, the remnant is one of the heroes we sent last time…"
"What do you mean?"
"According to reports, the hero stationed long-term in City D, 'Yang,' seems to have taken over the House of Evolution as a new base."
"Miss Fubuki likely went there to recruit him, but ended up disappearing."
"A hero kidnapping other heroes? That's the biggest joke I've heard this year!"
"Don't let this information leak for now!"
"Send someone to negotiate immediately and figure out what's going on."
"If A-class heroes were defeated, we'll likely need to send an S-class hero…"
"All the S-class heroes are busy with their own missions, and some refuse to leave their cities. It's difficult to mobilize them for anything less than a critical emergency."
Bang!!!
The conference room door was violently kicked open.
A little girl in a green dress walked in, her expression icy.
"No need to bother anyone else!"
"I'll handle this personally!"

House of Evolution.
Dr. Genus held a stack of documents, his face filled with helplessness.
"Sir, the genetic data of those three samurai shows no special traits and lacks any research value."
"We should just let them go!"
"They have huge appetites too. They're eating almost as much as Armored Gorilla. Our food supplies are dwindling fast."
The more he spoke, the more Dr. Genus felt like they were incurring a massive loss.
Chu Yang, however, seemed not to hear him, lost in thought as he stared at the experimental data.
The three samurai were undeniably much stronger than ordinary people, yet their genetic data showed no significant differences.
In contrast, Fubuki, with her psychic powers, displayed genetic traits resembling those of a monster.
"Samurai gain their strength through training, while Fubuki and Tornado's psychic powers resemble mutations?"
"Only mutations seem to produce genetic traits distinct from normal humans, with the potential for inheritance…"
"Monsterification can artificially alter the limiter threshold."
"This indirectly proves that a creature's limiter threshold is predetermined."
"But by whom? Could it be 'God'?"
"Probably not…"
"If it were that powerful, it wouldn't fear Blast or Saitama so much."
"'God' seems more like a monster that broke its limiter, but with some defect preventing it from becoming infinitely stronger like Saitama."
"It's also possible it's an alien entity. The emergence of monsters feels like some sort of 'infection.'"
"If this keeps going, the world of One Punch Man will turn into a Lovecraftian nightmare." Chu Yang sighed, his brain fatigued. With so little information, all his speculations felt baseless.
"Sir, about what I mentioned earlier…"
Dr. Genus smiled awkwardly.
"Oh, let them go, including Fubuki. We've almost finished analyzing her psychic powers."
Chu Yang stood, preparing to release them with Dr. Genus.
"Can the materials provided by the Underground King be used to create a set of armor?"
Walking along the road, Chu Yang suddenly inquired.
"It's possible, but the strength won't be as high as expected. It would be more than enough to handle A-class heroes or Demon-level monsters. However, it might struggle against S-class heroes or Dragon-level monsters."
"Even with the addition of rare metals, it likely won't withstand the attacks of S-class heroes or Dragon-level monsters."
"To achieve the combat strength you envisioned, we'd need Dragon-level monsters as materials."
With a complete blueprint, Dr. Genus spent just one night creating an entry-level Iron Man suit.
"By the way, the artificial intelligence system I gave you also needs synchronized development. Those suits aren't just for you to wear."
Chu Yang sternly reminded Dr. Genus that his goal was to build an army of steel soldiers capable of safeguarding all the research in the laboratory.
He didn't want to leave one day only to return and find his entire base ransacked.
Moreover, relying solely on Sonic to collect experimental materials was far too slow.
With a powerful force, everything would be much more efficient.
Meanwhile, the three samurai and Fubuki were being held in separate small rooms. Fubuki's room was even equipped with devices to suppress her psychic abilities.
Having had a large vial of blood drawn, Fubuki lacked the energy to escape even if confined to an ordinary room.
When Chu Yang opened the door, he found Fubuki holding a large bag of red dates, happily eating.
Upon seeing Chu Yang, the faint blush that had returned to her pale face instantly disappeared.
"What do you want now?"
Fubuki's lips trembled as she spoke, resembling a frightened young deer.
"Let's be clear: we haven't done anything strange to you, so stop overreacting, okay?"
"I'm just here to let you know you're free to leave."
Chu Yang didn't even step into the room or exchange another word with Fubuki before heading straight to the next room.
Fubuki stared blankly at his retreating figure.
Dr. Genus, being more gentlemanly, softly reminded her before leaving, "Miss Fubuki, if you don't leave now, the master might change his mind."
Fubuki shuddered violently, got up, and hurried out. Upon exiting the room, she coldly declared, "Not only did you reject my offer, but you also treated me like this. Next time we meet, you'll be the ones in trouble."
Dr. Genus frowned. "If the master heard what you just said, you probably wouldn't be leaving now."
Fubuki's face turned pale, and she quickly stopped talking, burying her head as she rushed to leave.
The remaining three samurai had similar experiences. However, before leaving, they couldn't resist making some sarcastic remarks.
Unlike Fubuki's luck, they were directly beaten by Chu Yang and walked out of the House of Evolution's door with bruised and swollen faces.
As soon as the three stepped outside, they saw someone standing next to Fubuki.
The same hair color, the same outfit, a similar face—the only difference was their figures.
One was tall and curvaceous, while the other resembled a grade-schooler.
"S-class hero, rank two: Tornado of Terror."
Iaian stared at the figure in shock. Aside from the rarely-seen number one hero, Blast, she was the most powerful hero on Earth.
"Someone ranked even higher than Master…"
Bushidrill and Okamaitachi swallowed nervously, their mouths dry.
"Did you escape from the House of Evolution?"
Tornado slowly floated above them, her cold gaze terrifying.
"No… we were let out."
Iaian stammered, his voice shaky.
"What did they do to you inside?"
Tornado glanced at Fubuki, whose relationship with her was strained. Fubuki hadn't mentioned anything about what happened inside.
"Just some beatings and a blood draw…"
"That's enough. I don't want to hear the rest."
With that, Tornado leaped into the air, flying above the entire building. She raised a hand, and her psychic power rapidly enveloped the structure.
The entire building shook violently, even causing the ground to tremble.
Iaian and the others struggled to keep their footing as the quake intensified.
In the next moment, to their horror, the entire House of Evolution was uprooted as if torn from the earth by sheer force.
"What terrifying power!"
The three stared pale-faced at the floating Tornado, their reverence growing. Such overwhelming might made them feel utterly insignificant.
Fubuki watched the scene with mixed emotions.
The two sisters had similar abilities, but Tornado overshadowed Fubuki in every aspect. Deep down, Fubuki's feelings toward Tornado were complex.
Tornado coldly surveyed the scene below. "If you don't want to get caught in this, leave now, you A-classes!"
Iaian's face changed, and he immediately led his companions out of the forest. Fubuki had already left ahead of them.
Tornado waved her hand toward the ground, and the building, now suspended high in the air, plummeted like a meteor under her psychic force.
From a distance, Fubuki and the others stared blankly at the apocalyptic scene unfolding.
But just as the building was about to hit the ground, it froze less than a meter from impact!
A lazy voice echoed.
"Why does everyone keep messing with my building?"
Chu Yang looked exasperated.
The last time Genos came, he tried to blow up this building.
After going through so much to protect it…
Now someone had uprooted it entirely.
What's with you people? Why do you keep picking on my building?
The true essence of the House of Evolution lay beneath the structure. Without the building, it would be like being naked!
"Seriously, what's your problem?"
Chu Yang spat, glaring at Tornado in the air with an unfriendly expression.
His enormous magical energy spread across the entire building, competing with Tornado's psychic power for control.
Magic versus psychic power.
Chu Yang's magic had mutated due to the influence of Wood Release, and its growth was virtually limitless.
With the number of clones across various worlds constantly increasing, and their shared augmentation, his magic had now reached a terrifying level.
He didn't even need to exert full effort to firmly stabilize the building.
Meanwhile, Tornado began to feel immense pressure.
"Shorty, it's a bit rude to destroy someone's building the first time you meet them, don't you think?"
"Shut up!"
Tornado yelled, increasing her psychic output. She hated being called "shorty" more than anything in the world!
"Looks like I hit a nerve," Chu Yang chuckled and poured more magic into the struggle.
The clash of their supernatural powers caused the heavens to darken. Thunder rumbled as dark clouds gathered, and the entire area trembled.
"This is no joke. Isn't he supposed to be an A-class hero? Why does he seem so strong?"
Fubuki couldn't believe what she was seeing. Tornado, who she considered the strongest hero, seemed to be at a disadvantage.
