First Order

"We want to book a private Awaking Room" Astrid said

Jay who came with Astrid looked around like curious child.

"It would take some time, as currently all the private rooms are booked, but if want I can arrange a public room." The who attended Jay and Astrid said solemnly.

Having a private room means that anything that happened inside will be kept confidential, as for public ones, well anyone can come and get the information as long as they have a reason.

People generally prefer private rooms as no one know high someone's affinity can be, and if someone had high affinity and the information leaked, they would become a hot potato that everyone desires.

What this good? Well not exactly if you are not from a powerful faction or have a powerful backing.

"How much time it will take for a room to be available again" Astrid asked as she looked at Jay who was touching a holographic image of a girl.

He looked like a creep.

"Around 15 minutes" the replied meticulously "If you want you both can wait in lounge"

Astrid nodded before walking to Jay who was sitting with child who was playing games on a holographic screen.

Both Jay and child were playing a local multiplayer game called, "After the Tower" a fighting game.

Astrid came to him, Jay who was emerge in game didn't noticed her.

"Jay, let's go in lounge" said in gentle tone.

When Jay heard this gentle voice, he who was emerge in game quickly came out of his revie and nodded,

Astrid and Jay arrived at the lounge and entered inside.

It was rectangular space of 80-meter X 50-meter. There were some sitting arrangement and two shops at the end of the room. Some peoples were sitting on the couches as some were reading newspaper, some were using their phones and children were playing.

Jay and Astrid sit on one of the many couches.

'This doesn't look like an apocalyptic world at all' Jay thought 'Shouldn't there be zombies roaming around, people struggling for the resources and what's awaking, clan and First Order?'

'Did I make wrong assumption, it not a post-apocalyptic world, but mana and portal world'

'Yes, this might be right, it also explains that giant who opened the gate'

Jay continues to think about many possibilities,

He was cultured man on Earth, hence he read various type of web novel and watched Anime, so getting a basic idea about the world was not so hard for him.

Astrid who sits on side couch was looking at Jay, as he continues to ponder about the world,

"What are you thinking?" Suddenly she asked.

"Huh" When Jay heard her voice he came out of his reverie, "Oh, nothing" he replied.

"Can I ask you some question?" he asked with a curious look. His eyes shining brightly.

"O-Of course" she replied hurriedly 'What's with that look? And how the hell he became more… handsome' she thought

Jay who had no idea, that he just makes this girl fall for him, he continued.

'I can't ask question that are so basic that, they might revile my identity as a transmigrator'

"Can you tell me about the First Order?" He asked.

"First Order?" Shouldn't you know about them" she said with a confuse look.

Jay shrugged. 'Was that too basic?' he asked himself.

"Ok, so let me tell you about First Order" she said

"First Order was established after 5 days of mana invasion, When the whole World was in chaos, 50% of whole World's population turned into Zombies.

Mysterious portal appeared in all over the continents, monster came out of these portals. From Day one to Day four, government tried everything in their power to stop monsters that came from the portal and zombie that roam around.

But they failed miserably as the last resort they tried to use Atomic Bombs, And America even fired one at China, because they have most portals.

Then the first Awaken and also the first Ability holder Madam Liying appeared and stop the Atomic Bomb.

After she appeared many other awakeners also appeared in different parts of the world, on forth day of the Apocalypse human finally gain the power to fight.

On fifth day four more Ability holders appeared they were, from America Sir James, from Russia Sir Ivan, from United Kingdom was madam Elizabeth and last one was from India Devi Shakti.

These five came together and establish First order.

The first order replaced the government and became the world government that control everything.

Some people tried to protest, but they were quickly shut downed."

She finished her explanation as she looked at Jay who was in deep thoughts.

'So, this is not an apocalyptic world but a portal world.' he though as a big smile appeared on his face.

"Astrid do people have harem now?" he asked a very very unusual and unexpected question.

Astrid looked at him strangely before nodding.

"If you have enough power and can convince females you can have a harem"

"And in current world, where female is abundant compare to male. Harem became quite common"

And as she thought something she added "There are also reverse harem, so be careful as handsome men got kidnapped easily" she joked.

"Hahaha, so you think I'm handsome" Jay asked as he came close to her face.

Astrid face turned red as she pushed him away

"No, you are not handsome at all" she said as she tried to calm her heart down.

'That was dangerous, he was too close and… he is too handsome'

'How can someone be so handsome when they didn't even awaken their mana' she thought

When a human awakes their mana, their appearance, body structure and many thing in their body change. They become more attractive, charming and seductive.

So, finding a good-looking awakener was common, but finding a good-looking non awaken person was quite rare.

Jay chuckled after seeing her reaction and was about to tease more, but then, the old man from before came and said "Sir, lady the private awakening room is ready".
