"Madam, Sir the private Awakening Room is free now" The old man form before said "You can use that"

Then he handover a card with No. 9 on it.

The flushed look on Astrid quickly disappeared,

"Let's go to awake your mana" she said before holding his hand and dragged him to the Room NO. 9.

Astrid and Jay arrived in the room.

It was 10 * 12-foot room with a couch, a machine in the corner and a table in middle with a transparent vial.

"Let's me tell how you can awake your mana"

"First sit in Lotus Position, then you will drink the liquid from the vial,

When you drink the liquid, you'll feel a warn soothing sensation all over your body.

You should just focus on the energy that course through your body and everything will come naturally." She finished.

'It was quick.' Jay thought and asked "That's it?"

"Yes, now go" Astrid said as she nudged him to go.

Jay heeds her advice and sat in lotus position before the table and picked the vial.

Then he looked at Astrid before gulping down whole bottle.

Suddenly his heartbeat quickens, A unknown energy enter his body and spread like a ripple in his body.

No, he was not feeling any pain or discomfort, but quite opposite it was a very pleasant feeling.

Like his was in a very protective embrace, like he was submerging in a hot bath after a very tiring day, like drinking cold water in a scorching day, and many other pleasant experiences.

He inhales in ecstasy feeling more relax with every breath. His mind numbing as the pleasure kept increase.

It was addicting, so addicting that he didn't want this feeling to end. But as all good things end at one point.

The sensation also starts to fade with each sec and it finally ended.

Reluctantly he opened his eyes. And a very-very disgusting smell assaulted his nose. But as the smell was an illusion it quickly disappeared.

'What was that?' he thought. 'Was that impurities mention in Chinese cultivation novel'

Jay stands up and walked to Astrid who was dozing-off on the couch.

'How should I wake her up' he thought 'Right, this is the best way to wake a sleeping beauty'

He tried to grabbed her face but before his hand can even touch her, she opens her eyes and grabbed his hand.

She first looked at his hand and then she looked at his face.

Astrid's eyes widening in surprise, her lips parted slightly in disbelief. For a moment, she just stared, stunned, mouth opened.

"W-What the hell happened to you?" She asked in disbelief. 'How can this person become more handsome, did he get the blessing of the God of Beauty' she thought in disbelief, not believing her eyes at all.

"Stop" Jay said as he acted shy, covering his face with hand. "You are embarrassing me"

When Astrid heard him, her face twitch in annoyance.

She released his hand and said in serious tone.

"Did you hear anything after the energy subsided?" Her tone was so serious as she was about to go to war.

"Yup, I heard a voice" Jay also said in serious tone not showing any playfulness.

Before Jay open his eyes, a voice reverberated in his mind.

"What, what did the voice said"

"Did that only congratulate you and faded or it said something else" she asked.

"It congratulates me and then it said something else" Jay said with a smile

Astrid didn't like that smile, but when she heard that, the voice said something else other than just congratulation, her face lit up.

"What did it say? Did it said something like 'You have an ability'?" She asked.

Now grabbed his hands again.

"Yes, it did say that I have an ability" Jay replied as he looked in Astrid's eyes.

After she heard him, her face beautiful face bright up more, even her eyes start shining like a star, her pink lips start shaking.

When Jay saw her pink lips which were trembling. He gets a craving to kiss her then and there, but somehow, he stopped himself.

She opened her lips to say something, but jay pressed his finger on her lips and shushing her.

"Can we first finish our business here" he said as he pointed toward the machine in the corner.

He doesn't know what that thing can do, but if something was here then, it might relate to awaking.

The second reason for not saying was, because he didn't trust the "First Order"

After he pointed at the machine Astrid felt shame as how she was behaving like a child in front of him.

"I-I'm sorry, I-I just lost myself" she said with red face.

'How can I behave like that, what would he be thinking about me?' she thought as she walking to machine with Jay.

"Let me first tell you what his machine can do" she said and start explaining.

It was Affinity Measuring Device for short AMD. This device is created by the First Order to measure the affinity of a person with different elements.

"Elements? You mean four basic elements" he said as his eyes never left the machine.

Jay who has read various novels and watched many anime, knew what elements are. So, he was quite excited to know about his own element.

"Yes, four basic elements and many of special elements" she replied

"And before you ask, Light, Dark, Sound, Illusions, nature and many other came under special element" she said as she saw Jay was about to say something.

Jay smiled and said "I was about to asked how to use this"

Jay wants to asked about the special element, but when he saw her explained her, he teased and asked other question.

Astrid mouth twitch when she heard him.

'He is definitely messing with me'

"Just press your hand on the hand mark on the machine. After few seconds it will give a data about your affinity." She spoke

"How these machine works, I don't see any wire in or out" suddenly Jay asked as when he was about to touch the hand print, he notices there is not wire here.
