Astrid finished explaining how this machine works.

When Jay heard it would give a data sheet of his affinity, he asked "Will order also receive my affinity data sheet" his tone was serious.

When Astrid heard him, she starts pondering, do order receive the information when someone check their affinity.

While she pondering Jay start inspecting the machine, soon after a shocked look appeared on his face.

"Astrid, this machine doesn't have any wire that connect to powerline, how the hell this is working?" he shouted

Hearing his shouting Astrid came out of her thinking before looking at him like he was an idiot.

"That because, it is working on the Monster Power Core." She spoke

"Monster Power Core, you mean that small marble that you retrieve from that zombie corpse." He asked.

"Yes, that marble, it became power source of the world after the calamity" She explained.

Jay nodded 'Same as novel and anime where Monster core became power source'

"And no, the Order would not receive your data" she said after explaining.

Jay first looked at her and then he looked at the machine hand print.

Without saying anything Jay touched the print.

When Jay places his hand on the machine, a strange energy entered his body. The energy course though every part of his body before returning to the machine again.

Within few seconds many messages displayed on the machine, before sound of printing paper came from below.

Astrid takes the paper before dropping it again.

When Jay saw this, he frowns 'did he perform so bad, that she can't even read that'

Jay picked up the paper and start reading. His face continues to change from frown to normal to happy to confuse to shock and finally disbelief.

"A-Are you the son of the destiny" Astrid said "H-How can you have Affinity with so many elements"

She shouted,

Jay quickly closed her mouth with his hand "Sheesh! Do you want to make a world announcement or something, be quite" Jay said as he looked at the door.

"And I don't know how I have so many elements" he said he turned around and, in her eyes,

"Can you tell me how many elements can normal person have?" he asked as he slowly remove his hand.

She nodded and grabbed his hand, "Let's go somewhere else" she said as she dragged his outside the room.

In a dark room Willson was sitting on a wooden chair waiting for someone.

'Who held meeting in this type of place' he complained in his heart.

"You can early" An undiscernible voice sounded from his behind,

He quickly turned around in haste, he saw a person wears dark robe, no one can tell if the person is a male or a female.

"No, I just arrived here" Willson said with a smile, but deep inside he was boiling in rage.

'This fucker is late an hour, but instead of apologising, said I was early'

"Let's cut to the chase, what do you want and did you have money?" the person said

They were from black-market they can do anything as long as you pay the price.

"I am the son of Asura Clan Master so money is the not the problem, as for what I want, I want you to kidnapped an E ranker" Willson said.

"854, collect money and details from him and find the girl" the person said before leaving.

Suddenly Willson felt a cold aura behind him, when he turned, he saw another person in same dark robes.

The person looked at Willson and Willson quickly gave him a storage ring. Although Willson can't see the person, he can tell this person is dangerous than the previous one.

 He gulped before rushing outside.

'After this I'm not going to work with them again' he thought as he walked to his car and ran away.

Inside the building, when the first person saw the detail, they burned it immediately.

A Terrifying aura erupted from their body destroying the chair behind.

The second person who saw everything didn't react, as they already expected this.

In front of an apartment complex Astrid stopped her car, she and Jay came out and entered the building.

They entered the elevator, she presses 13th floor button.

From the first order to now no one spoke anything, the atmosphere became so tense that when people saw them, they change their ways as to not disturb.

In front of a door numbered 1304.

"Let's go inside" Finally Astrid said something as she unlocks her apartment door.

"Isn't it too early for this? We just met in the morning and now in evening" Jay tried to make situation less tense but it didn't work as Astrid simply ignored him and enter the apartment.

It was a normal 1 bhk apartment, with a living room, attached kitchen, a bathroom and a single bedroom. There was a LED TV in and a small couch set in the living.

"Sit, lets talk" Astrid said

We set down, Astrid looked at me with a complicated look.

'Who are you are?' This question kept coming in her mind, so she asked "Who are you, Jay?"

"Who am I?" Jay muttered before take out a black ring from his pocket and looked at it.

"I don't know" he replied, he came from a different world, a complete opposite world, where this mana and monster only exist in web novels and anime.

But he can't say that right.

"I am your mercenary group member" he said with a big smile as he put back the ring in his pocket.

When Astrid heard him, she wants to refute him, but in the end she just sighed.

"Anyway, tell me about your ability first." She said as her gaze sharpen again.
