More and more goblin sound came from the same direction where previous two came from.

Hearing the sound of more goblins Jay didn't show much reaction, he simply glance at Astrid, who was standing inside the protecting membrane like nothing happened.

Jay taken a deep breathe as he waited for the goblins to arrive, within one minutes seven more goblins came in view, there were two goblin female wielding bows, five male goblins wielding weapons range from stone axes to crude clubs.

If it was only melee goblins, he was confident, but after seeing bow goblins his face turns darker.

'Run, Jay you should run.'

'Die, you will die again, like you died last time'

'Is it worth it, for a woman, risking your life. Let's just run and find some other woman'

Many different thoughts ran inside his mind, unconsciously he stepped back.

Suddenly anger boiled inside his body, 'I got this second chance in a world where anyone can become strong and you are saying I should run.'

"Don't kidding me" he shouted as he rushed toward the goblin group.

"Krek-Kreek! Hssk... Shaha! Noo grik tok?"

"Greeeh, tok-tok! Bah! Uruk-hai!"

"Keh-keh, hoisin! Yaak! Reba!"

When the goblins saw him rushing, they made various sound before screeching, all five melee goblins rushed in his direction and bow goblins take aim, but didn't shoot.

Jay was using these five goblins as a shield.

One goblin who has an axe threw its axe at Jay, who easily dodged it. Seeing their companion two more goblin threw their weapons at Jay.

Seeing the upcoming weapons Jay simply lie on the ground dodging the projectile, but it was a mistake, the three goblins who threw their weapons at Jay, increase their speed and tried to pounce on him.

Jay rolled on the ground dodging that, in that small time the other two goblins also rushed at Jay as they swing their clubs at Jay who dodged that by rolling back, he stand up after that.

Using his height advantage, he smashed his club on one of the goblins, killing it. Second one tried to back away, but was too late to do so, as Jay grabbed its green head with his other hand and smashed it on the ground knocking it unconscious.

The trio roared loudly seeing one die and other knocked unconscious, using their claws as weapon they start attacking, as three goblins were attacking simultaneously it became hard for him to retaliate.

Using their small height and teamwork they easily dodge and attacked Jay at the same time.

("Sssshhhht!") suddenly a whistling came from his front and an arrow hit one to the trio in the back making it scream in pain. Jay didn't let go of this chance, swinging his club downward hitting other one on head killing it. The remaining one attacked Jay with fury but Infront of Jay, its attack was useless, Jay evaded few before counter attacking and kill it also.

He didn't stop there and swinging his club again killing third one.

("Sssshhhht!")

("Sssshhhht!")

Two arrow accompanying whistling sound came from front, Jay tried to dodged them, but was unsuccessful. One arrow embeds him on the shoulder and other one gaze his stomach making a cut.

"Uggh" he wailed in pain, but didn't falter picking one of the dead goblin and using it was as small shield, Jay rushed to bow goblin.

When they saw Jay was using their companion as a shield, they get mad, throwing their bows and taking out stone knifes they rushed at Jay, screeching.

"Good, come to me" He shouted as he threw away the goblin corpse and charged at goblins in full speed.

One goblin which was in front jumped in air, holding the knife by both hand as it attacked Jay, Jay twisted his body sideways nearly dodging the goblin, it didn't stop there as it continuously attacked Jay, the other goblin joins in as it also attacked Jay relentlessly.

But this time was different, there were two goblin and he has two hands, he dropped his club and grabbed hand of both goblin at lightning-fast speed, twisting their wrist he effortlessly killed these two female goblin.

He picked up his club, turning back he found the unconscious goblin, still unconscious with a sigh he killed it.

Astrid clenched her fist when she saw Jay got hit in the shoulder by an arrow, 'I should help' she thought as she gritted her teeth,

She wants to protect him and also want to make him stronger a conflicting feeling,

When she saw Jay didn't faulter, a beautiful smile appeared on her face, it was smile that come when someone is proud of their loved one achieving something.

"9, finally 10" she counted as Jay finished the last unconscious goblin.

(Clap) (Clap)

"Well done" she said as she walked out of the protective membrane smiling,

Jay who finished killing last goblin, walked to Astrid and before she can say or do anything he hugged her,

She flushed asked "W-What are y-you doing". Jay didn't reply and stayed like that for few minutes before releasing her.

She struggled at first, but the more she struggles the tighter his hold became, so she stops struggling.

Few minutes later,

"So, how can I advance to E-rank" he asked looking into her blue eyes,

Feeling his intense gaze, she turned her head away and replied "W-Well, sit on the ground in a lotus position,"

Jay complied, " Now focus on the mana inside your body, when you feel the mana, try to collect that on one place and then try to compress it as much as you can, then released that"

"Release that, so what's the point of compressing it?" Jay asked as his eyes tried to look in her eyes but only saw her ample bosom.

"Don't release that outside of your body you idiot, instead release the mana like a dam release water, and make sure your guide the water in every part of your body."

She finished explaining and Jay followed her instructions,
