Chapter 22: Weaponry Hall (1)

Xu Yang was surprised to hear that Reon wanted to visit the Weaponry Hall. The Weaponry Hall was one of the largest and most prestigious halls of the Supreme Dao Sect, with branches spread across the Core, Inner, and Outer Sects.

Upon joining the sect, each disciple receives a Low-Tier Uncommon-Grade weapon, while those who ranked in the top three during the Sect Selection Disciple Ceremony are awarded superior weapons.

The disciple ranked third receives a High-Tier Uncommon-Grade weapon—just like the protagonist of the novel. The second-place disciple is given a Peak-Tier Uncommon-Grade weapon, and the one who claims the top spot is rewarded with a Low-Tier Rare-Grade weapon.

After joining the Sect, disciples can purchase weapons using Sect Contribution Points. The higher the weapon's grade, the more costly it becomes.

"I want to get a weapon from the Outer Sect's Weaponry Hall," Reon said, glancing at Xu Yang.

Xu Yang was a bit confused. Why would Xue Taiyang need another weapon? With his Mist Cloud Fox, he was already eligible for the Inner Sect Disciple Selection Ceremony, and he'd also been given a weapon for self-defense when he first joined the Sect. Despite his curiosity, Xu Yang nodded in agreement.

"Alright, Big Brother Xue," he replied.

"This bastard Xue Taiyang! He even gave away the personal weapon he received from the Sect to Niu Ling. If the system hadn't provided me an iron sword in the inventory, I'd have died in that Frost Mountain Cave," Reon cursed inwardly, fuming.

After finishing their meal, they got ready to head to the Weaponry Hall. As they walked, Reon pondered his next steps. He needed to evolve Cloudia to the Demonic Soldier Rank and also break through to the Qi Solidification Realm before the Inner Sect Disciple Selection Ceremony arc began.

And for that, Reon planned to venture into the Mystic Evergreen Forest. Nestled to the south of the Supreme Dao Sect, the Mystic Evergreen Forest is a vast expanse of towering ancient trees, their branches reaching majestically towards the heavens.

The air is infused with the earthy aroma of pine and damp soil, while a soft, ethereal mist weaves gracefully through the dense underbrush, enveloping the forest in an enchanting, otherworldly glow.

It is a sanctuary where nature's pulse beats strong, and the very atmosphere resonates with untapped energy, creating an environment where the potential for cultivation thrives in every breath and every whisper of the trees.

This forest is also home to many formidable Demonic Beasts. By acquiring the Primal Core of these powerful creatures, Cloudia can easily evolve to the Demonic Soldier Rank.

The Primal Core functions as the beast equivalent of the Golden Core for human cultivators; however, while humans must cultivate to form their Golden Cores, Demonic Beasts are born with Primal Cores, which can vary in quality—some are ordinary, others special, and a select few are extremely rare.

While humans cannot consume the Golden Cores of other cultivators, Demonic Beasts can elevate their ranks by devouring the Primal Cores of stronger beasts.

He could also enhance his proficiency in the Soulbound Beast Command technique there, as the dense concentration of Beast Qi in the area provided an ideal environment for cultivating such skills.

As Reon lost himself in thought, contemplating the journey ahead, he was reminded by Xu Yang that they had already arrived at the Weaponry Hall of the Outer Sect, a stark realization that jolted him from his musings.

As Reon stood before the Weaponry Hall of the Outer Sect, he was awestruck by its sheer grandeur and imposing architecture. Though he had heard descriptions of this hall from novel, witnessing it in person was a different experience entirely, leaving him utterly amazed.

The magnificent structure was crafted from dark, polished stone that gleamed brilliantly under the sunlight, lending it an almost otherworldly aura. Each facet of the building seemed to shimmer, as if infused with the very essence of martial prowess and history.

The impressive design combined functionality with beauty, creating an atmosphere that inspired both respect and admiration in all who approached.

The grand double doors were adorned with the sect's emblem, a fierce dragon entwined with a phoenix, symbolizing strength and rebirth. As Reon approached, he noticed the doors were slightly ajar, revealing a glimpse of the bustling interior filled with weapons of all shapes and sizes.

Inside, the hall was vast and cavernous, with high ceilings supported by elegant archways that seemed to stretch towards the heavens. The walls were lined with racks displaying an impressive array of weapons—gleaming swords, intricately designed spears, and sturdy shields—all meticulously organized and maintained.

Although none of the weapons here exceeded Rare Grade, they were still of exceptional quality.

Reon could feel a palpable aura of history and craftsmanship emanating from every corner, making it clear that this was not just a place to obtain weapons, but a sanctuary for those who sought to forge their destiny as warriors.

The air was thick with anticipation as disciples moved about, discussing their chosen weapons with passion and excitement, each one eager to find the perfect tool for their journey ahead.

Reon suddenly heard a commotion behind him. Curious, he turned around and saw Yang Lie in the midst of a heated argument with another young man.

He concluded that it was wiser to steer clear of the protagonist from now on when, suddenly, he heard a notification from the System.
