CHAPTER 10: A father's priorities

Trust unbuckled his belt and pulled his trousers down, only leaving his boxers on. He walked closer to the bed and slowly peeled the duvet off her, revealing her smooth thighs. Her dress had moved up slightly, and he could see the white lacy panty she had on. His dick jerked as his eyes took in the smoothness of her skin. Fuck! She had a body of a model. His gaze moved to her beautiful face. He was going to enjoy fucking that one. His fingers trailed softly on her skin. He could already imagine himself buried inside her coochie. He wondered how she would feel like. Was she tight, warm?

He groaned softly, licking his bottom lip. The thought alone made him so hard and he couldn't wait to just fuck her.

Mercy's eyes snapped open feeling a presence in her room. She sat up straight, her heart racing. Her eyes landed on Trust who had his fingers on her thighs and she quickly moved back.

"Who are you?" She asked, trying to keep her voice steady.

"I'm your worst nightmare, princess." A cold grin emerged on his lips.

Mercy gulped, her heart ramming violently against her chest. "What do you want from me?"

Trust's eyes gleamed with a sinister light as he stook another step closer to Mercy. "I'm going to make you pay for what your family did to us." He smirked. "You know what they say, the sins of the parents..." he shrugged.

Mercy's eyes widened in horror as Trust's intentions became clear. That's when she noticed that he didn't have any pants on. She tried to move back, but there was nowhere else to run. Her back was pressed against the headboard.

She shook her head as fear engulfed her whole. "Please don't do this." She begged

He ignored her plea and pounced on her, his hands grasping for her wrists. Mercy tried to break free, but Trust was just too strong for her, and the fear she had made it hard for her to fight. He got on top of her, pinning both her legs down.

"It's no use fighting me. The more you resist is the more i want you." He said then forcefully kissed her.

He held both her hands tightly with his other hand and then ripped off her panties. He slightly pulled down his boxers and then took out his hard dick.

Tears rolled down Mercy's cheeks as she felt him rubbing dick on her entrance. Was this how it was going to end? Was she going to allow him to just strip off her dignity just like that. She winced as he forcefully sank into her with a groan.

No!

She refused to let this man take advantage of her like that. She fought harder and managed to break one of her hands free. Her hand swiftly mover under the pillow, and she brushes a broken glass. She had shattered the mirror in the bathroom because she wanted to use it on Tanaka. She was going to stab him as pay back for the way he hurt her. She gripped the broken mirror tightly, cutting herself in the process, but she didn't care. With a swift and precise move, she lunged it on his shoulder.

Trust's eyes widened with shock, his dick losing it's erection. He slid out of her and stumbled backward, his hand clutching on his side. He didn't expect her to do that.

Mercy took advantage of his distraction to get out of bed and make a run for the door, but when she reached the door knob, she realized that it was locked. The bastard had locked her in. Her heart sank as she heard Trust's angry roar behind her. She quickly turned around and pressed her back against the door, her lips quivering.

This couldn't be her end. Dying was not on her list, at least not yet. She still had so many things she needed to do, like get over the hurt Tanaka had caused her, move on, and maybe find love again and have kids. She still needed to be there for Victor. She had to escape. There had to be a way to escape.

Mercy frantically searched for a way out. Her eyes roamed around the room, but she knew that it was useless. There was no way out. She was trapped with this beast who wanted to rape her.

Trust stumbled towards her, his eyes blazing with anger and pain. Mercy's whole body shook with fear. She didn't have anything to defend herself with anymore. The piece of mirror was still stuck on his shoulder.

"You stupid bitch," he spat, his voice laced with venom. "You think you can hurt me and get away with it?"

Mercy gulped, her heart beating out of her chest. "Stay away from me." She warned, her back still pressed against the door.

He pulled out the glass and blood instantly gushed out, painting his white shirt red. He clenched his jaws as pain shot through his whole body. He glared at her angrily then lunged at her. Mercy moved to the side, dodging his attack then knees him hard on his balls. Worked all the time! He let out a pained wince as he dropped on his knees, his hands on his manhood.

She rushed to the bed and took a bedside lamp the smashed it on his head. He fell down, his head dizzy. Mercy looked around the room for something, anything to hurt him before he hurt her any further. She noticed his trousers on the floor and picked them up, searching for the keys. She almost smiled when found them in one of his pockets. She quickly fished them out and rushed to the door to unlock it.

Trust slowly got up, his hand on his head as it was still buzzing. His head was bleeding but he couldn't let her escape. His brother would have him for dinner. He limped towards her and grabbed her hair but his grip was weak since he was losing blood. Mercy hit him hard with her elbow, sending him back to the ground. She continued unlocking the door until she heard a click sound. She quickly opened it and made a run for it down the hall. She had no idea where she was going but she had to be as far away from Trust as possible.

She ran down the hall, not minding her torn dress until she bumped into a hard chest. It was one of the guards. She fearfully moved back.

"Where are you going?" He asked

Mercy looked around for an escape route but there was none. She turned around wanting to go back but he was quick. He hit her head with the back of his gun and she fell down unconcious. He picked her up then went to Tanaka's study.

**

Tariro played with her phone, Elijah's business card in her hand. She had been sitting there for hours, too scared to pick up the phone and dial his number. She looked at the card one last time and mastered the courage to punch the numbers in her phone.

She took a deep breath then dialed his number. It rang for a while before he finally picked up. She kept quiet for a while.

"Umm hello.."

"Tariro, i've been waiting for your call."

"I've decided that I want the money. I will stay away from your son."

"That is an excellent choice."

"But i want 10 million. Either that or i will be a thorn in your son's marriage and life."

"Careful, sweety. I don't do well with threats. You should consider yourself really lucky because i could have just killed you and get rid of my problem. Offering you money was very generous of me. 5 million or i kill you. Your choice."

She swallowed, her heart racing. What did she get herself into? "Okay. 5 million. When can i get it?"

"I will contact you. And little girl, don't even think of crossing me. I will erase you from this earth." The call cut.

Tariro breathed out. That went well, she thought. She was going to use that money wisely.

**

Victor's phone rang, snapping him out of his thoughts. He quickly picked it up.

"Yes.."

"We found the ambulance at an abandoned warehouse but it was burnt to ashes. There is nothing to salvage there."

"Fuck!!" He cussed angrily, hitting the steering wheel with his hand.

"Im sorry boss."

Victor quickly cut the call. He didn't need the fucking sorry!! When Mercy's friends told her about the trip to Victoria falls, he was hopeful. He thought he was going to find something that would lead him to her but he hit a dead end. The security footage had been cleared as well as the records of them ever being there. Whoever took her was not an amature and every minute he spend not knowing where she was felt like torture. His heart was aching painfully.

He finally dialed Elijah's number. He needed his help.

"What?" Elijah barked.

Victor rubbed his face frustrated. He wasn't in the mood and this wasn't the fucking time.

"Mercy's is missing. "

"What are you saying?"

"I just found out. Her guards were found dead. Her tracker has been disabled. I tried looking for her on my own but i've been hitting dead ends. I need your help." The last part left a bitter taste in his mouth. He never thought that there would be a day where he will need Elijah's help.

"I will get my men on it. How did this happen? Make sure this doesn't get out. We don't need to give our enemies a chance to hit us while we are distracted."

"I think we should pause the wedding for a while...at least until she is back. I can't focus on finding her and the wedding at the same time."

"No. The wedding will still happening just as planned. Didn't you hear anything i have said? We have to act like everything is normal."

"Finding Mercy should be priority-"

"This wedding is equally important! If you are looking for an excuse to cancel the wedding then you are wrong. You are still going to marry Natalie in the next three days."

Victor clenched his jaws. "Your daughter is missing and all you care about is a business deal? What kind of a father are you?" He hissed angrily. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. Mercy must be scared where ever she was and all he cared about was a business deal? He hung up the phone, not wanting to talk to him any further.
