Chapter 39

UPSTAIRS

Bella woke up with a start, in her dream Ethan was gone, nowhere to be found. He had left her and their unborn baby, she cried and cried but he was nowhere. She looked beside her realizing that Ethan was no longer in bed, had he really left. She became worried scared, if this continued then she'd lose her husband. She panicked, throwing off the covers and rushing out of the room. She ran downstairs, her heart racing, calling out for Ethan with tears already streaming down her cheeks.

"Ethan! Ethan, where are you?"

Bella rushed into the kitchen, out of breath, and found Ethan sitting at the table with Henry and Rachel. She stopped in her tracks, relief washing over her, followed by worry.

"Ethan, you...you're here, I thought..." she said trying to catch her breath. "I was so scared."
