Alpha Arlo Bianchi - POV
"Was there anyone else in there?" I asked the rogue, and he nodded his head.
"Who?" I asked him, and when he was about to open his mouth to speak, I saw an arrow come in his direction, and it pierced his back. A small gasp left his mouth while his eyes widened in pain and shook as he died in my hands.
"Arlo, we should leave," Jacob warned me as he looked around the forest, but no one was there. I dropped the rogue on the ground and ran in the direction that the arrow came. As I entered the forest, I looked around, but no one was there, and I didn't get any scent either. "Arlo?"
"Let's go," I said as we made our way back to my car. I was too preoccupied with what happened as Jacob drove us back to the pack. When he parked the car in front of the pack house, I got down and quickly walked to my office.
