Isabella Martini - POV
My steps flattered as I saw a few men walk past the trees and suddenly vanish. I looked at the other men around me in question. "This is our border. We have this to protect our pack from intruders." one of them explained, and I nodded my head, as I walked towards the trees and stepped inside.
For a moment, I felt all the oxygen get sucked out of my lungs as I stepped into an entirely new part of the forest that would otherwise be invisible to the naked eye. There were rows of wooden cabins in irregular intervals on either side of me, with porches and gardens of their own, and I saw families in there as well.
As we walked in further, people began to stare at me in awe and surprise, but no one had a look of fear or hatred. There was something strange in the air that I couldn't decipher as well. "Their aura is different," Rose said.
