294: Laid out a bait - Part 2

Rossette allowed herself to be taken, her heart pounding with a mix of fear and determination. She had to trust in her plan, in herself, and in the fact that her friends would be ready when the time came.

The kidnappers transported her for what felt like hours, the journey long and winding. Finally, they reached their destination, a cold, damp room that smelled of mildew and fear. They threw her onto the hard floor, leaving her bound and blindfolded.

One of the men sneered, his voice dripping with malice. "You'll regret crossing us. Your friends won't be able to save you now."

Rossette didn't flinch. She knew they were trying to break her spirit, but she was stronger than that. "We'll see about that," she murmured under her breath.
