Chapter 83: The Destruction of the Aircraft Carrier Battle Group

Ethan Hayes entered a vast underground bunker, his movements swift and purposeful, guided by directions from unknown well-wishers. For nearly twenty minutes, he made his way through the maze of corridors, his goal firmly set in his mind.

Finally, he reached the deepest part of the bunker. In the enormous underground space, a strange metal cage stood, glowing faintly with its unique properties. Inside the sealed cage was a table, and behind it, a screen that showed Jessica Jones. A remote control sat on the table, ominously waiting.

"Ethan, it's a trap! Leave while you can!" Jessica cried out, her voice trembling with fear.

"Jessica, I'm sorry for involving you in this," Ethan said, his expression stoic. He directed his gaze toward the man standing behind Jessica—Emil Bronski, his sworn enemy.

"Bronski," Ethan said, "I hear you have a lovely wife. Do you have any children?"

Bronski's smirk faltered for a moment. "This won't work on me, Hayes. You'll never find them."

Ethan smiled casually. "Really? I wonder if the military could find them. Or maybe S.H.I.E.L.D. What about the government? They're pretty resourceful."

Bronski raised his right hand, checking his watch. "You have one minute and thirty seconds to decide. Either step into the death cage I've prepared for you, or Jessica Jones dies. Simple as that."

Ethan's gaze remained steady. "I admire your conviction, Bronski. I'll kill you myself."

Without hesitation, Ethan stepped into the death cage. The metal door behind him remained open for a moment before Bronski pressed a switch, sealing it shut.

Bronski's grin widened. "This cage is made of secondary adamantium—indestructible, as you might have guessed. No matter how powerful your freezing abilities are, you won't be able to break its molecular structure."

Ethan surveyed the surroundings with a smirk. "Impressive. But I have a feeling this cage is flawed."

Bronski raised an eyebrow. "Are you stalling for time, thinking someone else might rescue Jessica?"

"Let's just say," Ethan replied, "I know things are never as stable as they appear. A ship feels stable on the water, but the slightest ripple can bring it down."

Bronski frowned. "Your time is running out, and no one is coming to help you."

Ethan's eyes never left Jessica as he spoke. "We'll see about that."

Bronski pressed the button without hesitation.

Deep in the Nevada desert, a massive explosion erupted as an atomic bomb detonated at a test site. The earth trembled, and a massive mushroom cloud formed, visible for miles.

Jessica screamed. "Ethan!"

Bronski sighed, turning to Jessica. "Don't worry, Miss Jones. He's gone now. I won't kill you—but whether you live or die depends on your own luck."

Meanwhile, far from the devastation in Nevada, deep in the Atlantic Ocean, a naval aircraft carrier battle group, having set out from San Diego, was facing an unexpected crisis.

Massive waves rolled across the sea, and soldiers on the deck of the aircraft carrier were thrown overboard by the surging waters.

"What the hell is going on?!" one of the officers shouted.

A sudden hurricane formed, dark clouds gathering above as heavy rain poured down. The aircraft carrier rocked violently as waves as tall as buildings slammed into it.

Back in the bunker, Bronski looked at Jessica's pale face with disdain. "Congratulations, Captain Bronski," said a general, entering the room. "You've succeeded in killing him."

Bronski's face remained emotionless. "Even if he was a monster, he still had weaknesses."

Suddenly, alarms blared throughout the aircraft carrier. The general rushed out, panic etched on his face.

"What's happening?" Bronski demanded.

"Sir! One of our frigates has been pulled under by a massive whirlpool!"

The once-calm sea had turned into a monstrous vortex, swallowing the ships of the battle group one by one. The massive whirlpool centered on the aircraft carrier, dragging it down as well.

Meanwhile, back on the deck, Jessica floated in the sea, her body gently carried by the waves. She wasn't drowning; bubbles formed around her, creating a safe haven as the water cradled her, keeping her alive.

In the midst of this chaos, Bronski transformed into Abomination, roaring in fury as he realized what was happening. "Show yourself, Ice Demon! Face me!"

As the vortex intensified, Ethan emerged from the water, standing tall on the deck. His blue suit was immaculate, his expression cold and calculating as he locked eyes with Abomination.

"How did you escape?!" Bronski roared, disbelief evident in his voice.

Ethan's smile was chilling. "Are you sure the person in that cage was me?"

From the swirling sea, several figures emerged—identical copies of Ethan, formed from ice and imbued with his freezing powers. They stepped onto the deck, their presence radiating frost.

Bronski's eyes widened in horror. "They're all you?"

"They're all part of me," Ethan replied. "And now, you'll face the consequences of your actions."

Before Bronski could react, Ethan's true power was unleashed. His body radiated a golden light as he activated Dragon Elephant Prajna Kung Fu to its fullest extent, combining it with the abilities of the two Devil Fruits he controlled.

"Fire Ice Palm!"

With one hand, Ethan unleashed a searing purple flame, striking Abomination squarely in the chest. The monster was sent flying, his body scorched by the intense heat.

But the attack didn't stop there. With his left hand, Ethan unleashed a freezing blast, the temperature dropping to absolute zero. The sea, the ships, and the entire aircraft carrier froze solid in an instant. Soldiers, officers, and even the generals aboard the carrier turned to ice sculptures as the frozen wave swept through them.

Abomination struggled to rise, but the combined power of fire and ice had ravaged his body. His once-strong form was now weak and broken.

"You… you can't be human…" Bronski gasped, his voice filled with despair.

Ethan stood over him, his expression devoid of pity. "I told you—there's no cage that can hold me."

As the flames and ice consumed Abomination's body, reducing him to ashes, Ethan turned his attention to the burning wreckage of the aircraft carrier. With a wave of his hand, he doused the flames and melted the ice, restoring the sea to its natural state.

Ethan melted into the water once more, his body becoming one with the ocean as he swam toward Jessica, who floated gently beneath the waves. He reached her just in time, wrapping her in his arms and carrying her to safety, leaving the wreckage of the aircraft carrier and the destruction of Bronski far behind.
