Chapter 21: Crimson Rebellion

The sky was still dark when the armored vehicle carrying Chen, Yura, and Li Feng finally crossed the border into the hidden military camp nestled in the mountains. The glow of torches and small lamps illuminated the area, revealing a landscape filled with tents and wooden barracks where warriors gathered, preparing for the impending battle.

As soon as the vehicle came to a stop, Chen immediately stepped out, his eyes scanning the surroundings. The night air was cold, but it wasn’t enough to extinguish the warmth he felt upon seeing familiar faces.

"Chen!" a familiar voice called out. From behind a tent, a tall man with a scar on his temple walked briskly toward him. "I knew you wouldn’t die that easily!"

Chen offered a faint smile. "Xiao Dre, it’s good to see you again."

Xiao Dre, an old friend and Chen’s right-hand man in the rebel forces, patted his shoulder firmly. "We heard what happened in the city. You brought a lot of trouble back here, didn’t you?"
