Rowan held out the seats for his grandfather, mother and sister. The maids came out to serve the food onto their plates.
Scarlett had a little bit of everything. She was not going to let anything pass her by.
Within a few minutes, the joyous family of four had already taken off the weight from their dishes.
The maids came to take the plates away. Scarlett sat on the couch, going through the news on her phone while Rowan seemed to be busy in a conversation with someone.
Scarlett lifted her head and saw her brother staring furiously at his phone, his forehead was furrowed.
“Why are you so aggressive with your phone?” She asked him, sitting up straight.
Rowan gave no answer. It seemed as if he didn’t hear her talking to him.
Scarlett rose up from the couch and tiptoed behind Rowan. She wanted to peek at what he was doing.
Before Scarlett could even take a proper glance at Rowan’s phone, he turned off the screen.
