UNEXPECTED MOMENTS

As the dinner plates were cleared away, the elders excused themselves to the home lounge, leaving the younger ones to catch up. The house workers swiftly moved in to tidy up the dining room, their efficiency a testament to the evening's importance.

Ari leaned closer to Mia, her voice a whisper. "Go, try and engage him. Don’t you want to spend some time with him? I mean, you’re so beautifully dressed. I’m sure you had him in mind when you were getting ready. Now he’s finally here, so grab the opportunity, sis."

Mia's heart raced at her sister's words, but before she could respond, Jason, ever the observant one, interrupted. "What are you two whispering about? Don’t tell me you’re secretly talking about us," he teased, his eyes twinkling with mischief.

Ari was taken aback by his playful nature. "We were just trying to decide what to do for fun," she said, trying to sound casual.
