Summoning Purple Pearl

After making definitive decisions about the pirates.

Li Haitian hesitated for a moment and then spoke to Ye Tian: "Young Master Ye, I just thought of someone."

"Who?" Ye Tian asked.

Li Haitian replied, "Purple Pearl."

Purple Pearl was quite a renowned pirate along the shores of the Eastern Sea.

The pirate crew she led punished evil, upheld justice, and helped the poor, earning considerable fame.

Li Haitian wanted to use Purple Pearl as a way to classify the pirates into different categories based on their actions, which would facilitate the later handling of matters.

Of course, everything would have to be approved by Young Master Ye Tian before it could be executed.

Upon hearing Purple Pearl's name, Ye Tian's eyes narrowed.

He knew this person.

He remembered that when he came to Golden Turtle Island, Purple Pearl's ship was among the pirate fleet.

"Was Purple Pearl also captured?" he asked.

This piqued Hu Liena's curiosity. "What? Ye Tian, do you know this pirate?"

"Not exactly. I've lived near the Eastern Sea for a long time, so I've heard a little about her reputation," Ye Tian explained.

"I see," Hu Liena said, losing interest.

At this moment, Li Haitian shared his thoughts:

"Purple Pearl is quite prestigious among the pirates and is known for her righteousness.

I think we can use her to gauge the extent of wrongdoing within the different pirate groups.

This would help with the judgments of the pirates later on.

Moreover, the typhoon accompanied by heavy rain is about to arrive.

We can't let a heroic figure like her stay out in the rain. If word got out, it would tarnish the Li family's reputation."

Ye Tian nodded lightly and gestured to the second elder next to Li Haitian: "Please bring Purple Pearl here."

The second elder nodded in agreement. It was clear to him that the clan leader held Ye Tian in high esteem.

Ye Tian's words in the Li family were already commands that had to be followed.

So, without waiting for Li Haitian's instructions, the second elder set off, a gesture of respect toward Ye Tian.

As they waited, Li Haitian waved for Li Jiuchuan to prepare tea.

The approaching typhoon had cooled the air considerably.

Drinking some hot tea would warm them up.

Before long.

A voluptuous woman wearing a pirate hat and a purple jumpsuit entered the room, led by the second elder.

Ye Tian looked up and saw that the expressionless woman before him was likely Purple Pearl.

The captured Purple Pearl showed a hint of barely noticeable disappointment in her expression, but even more so, there was pride and defiance.

Hu Liena, sitting close to Ye Tian, pressed her forehead and glanced at Purple Pearl with interest.

When she saw Purple Pearl's curvaceous figure, especially the overwhelming sight of her ample chest, Hu Liena widened her eyes and secretly swallowed hard.

Then she looked down at herself, comparing the two.

Her final conclusion: Purple Pearl's figure was simply too much!

So... big...

She could even rival her teacher!

Hu Liena cast a frustrated glance at Ye Tian next to her.

As expected, men are all liars!

He just said earlier that he didn't know who Purple Pearl was.

Now it seems that Ye Tian was simply lying!

This guy had spent so much time living by the Eastern Sea, he must have already heard about Purple Pearl's figure and looks and had long harbored improper thoughts!

No wonder Ye Tian had mentioned before that he liked women like his teacher.

Turns out he was into curvaceous women all along!!

Hu Liena lowered her head again and looked at her own chest, gritting her teeth in frustration.

Damn it!

Ye Tian must have a bias toward curvy figures!

And he had the nerve to say he didn't like her silly behavior.

It was all just an excuse!

Looking at Purple Pearl in front of her, Hu Liena thought, "She doesn't seem particularly smart either."

Then she glanced at Ye Tian's expression—he looked as if his soul had been stolen!

The more Hu Liena thought about it, the angrier she became, and finally, all her frustration turned into a proud humph.

Hearing her humph, Ye Tian turned his head and rubbed her hair. "What's wrong? Why are you upset?"

Hu Liena pouted and voiced her displeasure, "I'm afraid a certain bad big brother's heart is not on his little sister."

With that, she shot a malicious glare at Purple Pearl.

Following her gaze, Ye Tian looked at Purple Pearl again and couldn't help but grin.

He had a pretty good idea of why Hu Liena was upset.

This sulking attitude could only be described as jealousy.

Indeed, he had been a little lost in thought when he first saw Purple Pearl.

But that was just because he was feeling a little sentimental.

Besides Dugu Bo, she was the second familiar face he had encountered.

Ye Tian still remembered that she used to be a saintess of the Spirit Hall.

As for Purple Pearl's curvaceous figure, that had only taken up a fifth of his thoughts.

After all, he was still a guy.

Seeing a beautiful woman and reacting a little, taking a couple of extra glances, was only natural.

Ye Tian glanced at Hu Liena's sulking, proud face.

He stroked her hair again and comforted her: "Alright, what's there to be angry about?"

"Look, I'm sitting right here next to you, aren't I?"

Faced with Hu Liena, Ye Tian felt a bit helpless.

She was naturally a bit foxy, and when she pouted, it was truly hard to resist.

With a sister like this, he could only comfort her with affection.

"I'll believe you this time."

Hu Liena's mood improved, and her expression returned to normal.

She knew that even pouting had its limits.

Otherwise, if her cute act failed and backfired, it would be disastrous.

She had finally gained Ye Tian's favor, so she couldn't risk losing it now.

Seeing that her mood had improved, Ye Tian straightened his posture, looked at Purple Pearl, and gestured, "Miss Purple Pearl, please have a seat. First, I can assure you that we mean no harm. If you're willing, I believe we can sit down and talk."

Hearing this, Purple Pearl's fair face showed a look of surprise.

After being a pirate for so many years, she had developed an acute sense of judgment.

It was clear that the young man before her was the core of the room.

Beside him was a beautiful blonde girl, flirting with him.

Her first impression was that he was a frivolous, charming young master.

But when he spoke, Purple Pearl realized the boy's composure and calmness.

His tone carried no arrogance, and there was none of the attitude of a victor.

This kind of demeanor wasn't something just anyone could possess.

Faced with such a victor, Purple Pearl knew that this was a stroke of luck.

She couldn't refuse his invitation.

She bowed slightly and said, "Pirate Purple Pearl, greetings to all."

With a self-deprecating smile, she added, "As a pirate hunted by all, I won't dirty your sofa."

Hearing this, Ye Tian smiled slightly and invited her again: "It's fine."

Then he glanced at Li Haitian and added, "Besides, it's not even my house."

"Young Master Ye, you're too kind," Li Haitian laughed heartily and looked at Purple Pearl:

"Miss Purple Pearl is a hero among pirates, and more than worthy of a seat on the sofa."

"I'm honored by your visit, and there's no way I'd mind!"

"Ye Tian? You're Ye Tian?!"

Purple Pearl, however, ignored Li Haitian completely. Her pupils contracted as she stared at Ye Tian in disbelief.

She hadn't expected to meet Ye Tian in the Li family's fortress!

For a moment, she wasn't sure if this was good luck or bad.
