Theo Rossi

TWO MONTHS LATER

Theo Rossi eyed the new waitress with lust as she catered to the customers, moving with grace, her red hair in a ponytail, and her hourglass figure accentuated by the tight uniform.

Theo licked his lips with anticipation. This was fresh meat, and he would get his taste of it before anybody else.

Theo Rossi was the heir to the Rossi mafia family, the biggest and most powerful mafia family in the west side of Las Vegas. He lived his life the way he wanted and got anything he desired, eliminating any threats that came his way.

And right now, he wanted the new waitress, and he was going to have her. Rossi decided to himself.

Sabrina served the customers with a fixed smile on her lips, taking the small pat on her backside with grace and pretending to be comfortable with it.

After two months of working at the Black Diamond Bar, Sabrina had come across all sorts of people: fat and ugly men who used every opportunity to pinch her butt, good-looking men who looked at her with unbridled lust in their eyes, and others who thought she was a call girl.

Sabrina had been harassed, but for some reason, Damien, the owner of the club, had made it known that she was off-limits. This was what had saved her from the hungry wolves.

Sabrina had no idea why her boss had been protecting her, but she had a nagging suspicion that it was because of the lady who had saved her life and later gotten her the job. To this day, she had no idea who the lady was.

Because the lady had disappeared after introducing her to Damien, who had immediately taken her under his wings. Two months later, Sabrina couldn't get the thought of the man who had bought her out of her mind.

Two months of recurring nightmares about the night of her escape, except that it always ends with her getting caught and the furious temper on the face of her master.

She wondered if he ever thought about her and laughed at herself for such thoughts; of course, he would remember her every time he looked at that man, not that she wanted him to remember her, she thought to herself.

But everything considered, she was doing fine; she already had regular customers, who tipped her all the time, and then there's the relationship between her and the following servers; most of them liked her, and the name "Lily" felt as much her own as her given name now.

It was these thoughts that plagued Sabrina when she went to serve Theo Rossi, the insane mafia lord who had been eyeing her for a while now. He had quite a reputation on the west side of Las Vegas.

Sabrina placed the drink on Rossi's table, ignoring him. Damien had warned her to stay away from him, and she had avoided his table until today. She had no choice; everyone else was occupied with other tables.

"Hey, you, come back here," Rossi called in a hard and chilling voice, but Sabrina ignored him and continued on her way, her heart in her throat.

Suddenly, two of his men blocked her way, forcing her to go back to him. Sabrina looked around furtively, but Damien was nowhere in sight.

"The boss is calling you," one of his henchmen, who looked like a walking tattoo parlor, said to Sabrina, but she just stared at them.

After a while, she turned around and returned to his table, standing beside him, staring straight ahead.

"Are you playing hard to get, mamacita?" Rossi asked with a lusty grin on his face, but Sabrina ignored his questions and fixed a polite smile on her face.

"What would you like me to do for you, sir?" Sabrina asked in a polite tone, her face showing none of the fear she felt inside.

"Oh, I'd like you to do a lot of things for me just fine, but first, what is your name?" he whispered with a pretentious look of fondness before grabbing Sabrina's hand and pulling her closer to his table.

"My name is Lily, 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑖𝑡 𝑖𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑦 𝑜𝑓 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑏𝑢𝑠𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑠𝑠," Sabrina replied adding the last part in her mind.

"Oh, I like the sound of that, a wildflower that you are," Rossi said, not letting go of her hand while Sabrina tried to get rid of his grip.

"I have to attend to other tables," Sabrina said, not appearing in the least scared of him, just cool disdain on her face and an air of superiority that infuriated Rossi.

He wanted to show her who the boss was, but there were already so many eyes on them, and he didn't want to offend Damien as he had told him that she was off limits.

"Sure, you can go," Rossi slurred, patting Sabrina's backside while she walked away from the table.

"Are you okay?" Jamie asked as she reached the bar, where he stood, mixing drinks and looking at her skeptically.

So far, he was the only friend she had made in this new life; he was nice and funny, he walked her home every day, and he worried about her. Also, he knew Damien had warned her about serving Jamie's table.

"I am fine; I hope you won't tell Damien about this," Sabrina requested, knowing Jamie would most probably tell their boss out of worry, but he did not answer her question, just continued staring at her.

"Jamie, promise me,"

"Okay, I won't tell him, only if you promise you won't serve the table again," He answered with raised brows.

"It's a deal then, now let me go enjoy my break," Sabrina replied, heading to the back room.

"I won't have to tell him; he will find out by himself," The bartender muttered to himself after Sabrina was gone, looking up at the set of little cameras that surrounded the club.

"So far, she has been doing fine, she made a new friend," Zaynab said into the mouthpiece, recounting the details of the videos and photos she had already sent to Jamal.

"Male or female?" Jamal asked, his body already tensed at the thought of his pet in the arms of another man.

"Male, my Lord, but the relationship between them is strictly platonic," Zaynab explained in a firm voice, already hearing the anger in his voice.

Even over the phone, she can detect the explosive anger and dangerous temper of her superior.

Jamal did not doubt that Zaynab had done thorough investigations before she declared that his pet was not getting into bed with another, yet he couldn't stop the anger that seemed to reverberate through him at the thought.

"Are you there, my Lord?" Zaynab's voice called him back to the present.

"Yes, Zaynab, anything else," Jamal replied, and Zaynab knew he had not gone through the files she had sent to him; if not, he'd not be this cool.

"It seems the young Lady had caught the attention of Theo Rossi," Zaynab muttered, the name that sounded like a curse to Jamal's ear.

"El Salvatore's son?" Jamal asked, referring to Theo's father, who happens to be Jamal's sworn enemy.

"Yes, my Lord," Zaynab replied.

"Good, I should be going back to Al Jazeerah by the end of this month and she is going back with me, the weakling should have made his move by then, and hopefully the chick will learn her lesson, if not I have a greater one to teach her," Jamal said into the phone, referring to Sabrina.

"Do you remember my instructions, Zaynab?" Jamal asked again.

"Yes, my Lord, do not interfere," Zaynab said and Jamal ended the call, his gaze hard and inscrutable.
