Meeting The Beast's Sister

"Can I ever leave you alone for a second and trust that you won't kill yourself before I return?" Jamal said in that chastising voice again and Sabrina face flushed with mortification as he carried her off the terrace and into the room.

Sabrina face flushed a deep shade of red at his words, and she wanted to burrow deeper into his muscular chest as she laid her hand on his chest, his skin hot against her palm.

Jamal placed her gently on the bed, an action contrasting the stern harshness of his face.

"If you love yourself, you will stay on that bed and won't move until help is sent for you, or maybe you don't love yourself, but I haven't got my money worth off you and you haven't paid for your actions either," Jamal warned in a tone that makes Sabrina thinks she's nothing more than a commodity and her flush deepens.

But what worries her the most is his words about paying for her actions, she wondered what her punishment could be, Sabrina fears he plan to take pleasures from her body.

"Ahem…I…I…" Sabrina cursed herself for the way she is sounding in front of the man, talking like this will probably make her look like an easy prey to him.

"What do you have to say?" Jamal asked his green eyes, shining with a predatory light, and water dripping from his hair and onto Sabrina's face as he cowers over Sabrina on the huge bed.

"How did you find me?" Sabrina asked through gritted teeth, this time without stammering but with a shaky voice.

Jamal stared into her eagle shaped almond eyes, shinning with anger and fury, then he raised himself off the bed, turning his wide back to her.

"Nothing escapes me, Habibi, absolutely nothing, you get away because I want you to, the street has taught you a lesson because I want it to, now it's my turn to teach you the meaning of obedience, and by the time I am done with you, you'll understand why I am Al Jazeerah," Jamal's response came in a string of low and deadly voice.

Sabrina watched his back, fury blurring her visions and overwhelming her senses, the bastard had knew all along, he knew where she was while she was out there, feeling safe and protected from him.

With impulsive anger, Sabrina grabbed the flower vase seated on the drawer beside the bed and hauled it at his ramrod straight back.

The Vase landed with finality on his back then shattered on the floor right behind him, and Sabrina stared in horror at what she had just done.

With dread, Sabrina watched as Jamal slowly turn around to face her, unable to look at his face, she stared at his feet, hoping to God he wouldn't retaliate by hitting her or doing something worse.

"You think you are so smart that you will be able to evade me, and survive on the street of Las Vegas all on your own?" Jamal asked in a menacingly low voice, his eyes deadly cold.

And he started advancing towards the bed again, his gait slow and purposeful.

"After trying to escape from me, shooting my man and almost getting yourself killed in the process, a situation of which I saved you from, the next thing you did was to throw a vase at me, I will admit that I like your fire, but I'll make sure to douse it until every amber is out," Jamal said as he leaned over her on the bed.

Sabrina moved up against the headboard in panic, wondering if she has overdone it, her body coiled up with tension at his closeness, she could not understand her own contrasting emotions.

One moment, she wants to see him dead, the next she wants to wrap her arms around his neck and kiss his lips.

"Brother, I heard you have a foreign guest staying in your quarters, I wonder how she fares," a voice quipped from the doorway startling them both, but Jamal only smoothed Sabrina's hair from her forehead before he straightened and stared at the teenager, standing by the doorframe.

"Maryam, I thought you were warned never to enter my den unannounced," Jamal said in a voice that made lower men shrivel but the teenage girl only advanced further into the room.

"I miss you too, brother, and I like that you brought a woman, for the first time, a foreign woman, I think we will get along just fine," the teenage girl who shares a striking resemblance to the beast in front of her said, her voice filled with amusement

She was dressed in a hot pink tank top that barely covered her breast and a spandex skirt, so tight that Sabrina wondered how she moved in them, her appearance is in contrast with the elegance of the room.

" You are welcome to Al Jazeerah, Habibi, I hope this one here hasn't been giving you a hard time, he acts all grumpy, but he is just one big bear, no need to be scared of him," Maryam said in a stage whisper loud enough for Jamal to hear, as she settled beside Sabrina on the bed.

"Maryam, what are you doing here, and who picks out your outfits anyways?" Jamal asked, looking at his half sister with raised brows.

"I pick my outfit, don't I look beautiful, I am dressed in the height of New York fashion, yes?" She asked turning to Sabrina who looked like she can't believe what's happening in front of her.

The fact that this man capable of murder has to tolerate the banter of a teenager makes her wonders about the way of the world.

"You look like a call girl, and you haven't answered my question about why you are here," Jamal tone sounded a note of warning but it seems the teenage girl doesn't hear or she just doesn't care.

"I disagree with you, I do look beautiful, and where else should I be, I can't stay with Safiyah, she complains about everything, Kamal is always busy and I don't have any class now," Maryam replied, flopping down on the bed beside Sabrina.

"And besides, I have to come check out your guest, is that the real color of your hair," She asked, caressing Sabrina hair while Jamal expression remains the same.

"I complain a lot too, and right now, I want you to leave my residence and make your way back to the women's palace, since you seems to have satisfy your curiosity."

"I don't want to, I want to play with her a while, I have a lot of things I have to ask from her, it's been long have been out of this place since you stopped taking me on trips with you,"

"Because you were a pain in the ass, now you will do as I say, or I'll call Jibril to throw you over his shoulder and carry you back to the Rose palace,"

"You are bluffing," Maryam said with a defiant expression on her face.

"I don't bluff, you of all people should know that" the expression on Jamal's face indicates that he wasn't joking.

Maryam stood up, looking close to tears and stomped out of the room, giving Jamal a death glare.

After she was gone, Jamal turned back to Sabrina who still has a dumbfounded expression on her face.

"Why did you have to talk to her like that, she's only a child," Sabrina scolded forgetting her dilemma completely.

Jamal looked amused, at being scolded by a commoner, one he had bought with his own money, he chuckled at the thought, and the sound holds more evil than humor.

"You are nothing but a whore, bought and paid for by my money, and you are in no position to tell me what to do, if you behave yourself, I might just let her come keep your company later," Jamal whispered as he took his towel and stepped out of the room.
