Stage two:QUEST FOR A SUITABLE WEAPON.

Blaze rested for the whole time while cracking his fingers and exercising them to avoid cramps during play.

Blake also woke up and stretched before…sleeping in a new position. Typical.

After the completion of the countdown, the stage two of the game began.

The notification board appeared on the screen and contained in it were, a new update to the game.

New feature such as; Leaderboard with real-time updates and global ranking, crafting system, trading system, Side quests and missions (+optional), inventory, advanced dynamic soundtracks, realistic sound effect and customizable character.

This new update made the players thrilled and they instantly rushed to the character customization tab and changed the appearance of their characters.

Wide range of attires were presented for free.

Blaze wasn't a big fan of customization, so he chose a black futuristic neck to toe suit that had many pockets (which he knew would be convenient),the short dark black hair of his character was fine as it is ,so, he needn't change it, for the character's lenses, he chose cyan colored lenses and picked a random digital ear design (which he thought was cool).

He closed the tab and when he was brought back to the open arena of green fields, with skies clear and blue, birds chirping, and trees dancing with the fresh cool wind.

"It seemed that they really meant the realistic sound effect upgrade they spoke of" Blaze said and navigate the place with the help of the mini-map placed on the top left on his PC screen.

He'd casually interact with objects that are just lying around, either storing them or throwing them to hit other players, thus reducing their HP (health point).

They'd chase after him but part of being a pro gamer meant being able to avoid trouble even if you were to reason for that trouble.

The background song was soothing and relaxing but Blaze sought after action and adventure.

The alarm went off and the second stage began.

[STAGE 2: QUEST FOR A SUITABLE WEAPON].

"The text has even been upgraded" Blaze thought and said "about time they began!".

It seemed that they'd be playing in the green field because their location wasn't changed.

Just then, a notification popped up.

Dear Legends of COAL, this is to inform you that the second stage has begun and players are to find a single suitable weapon before the end of the countdown.

From your loving still *"NOT YOUR CONCERN"* do break a leg.

After thirty seconds, the notification dissipated and the countdown of 1 hour began.

Blaze wasn't in a rush, all he needs to do was find a weapon. Easy right?…,wrong.

After 40 minutes, Blaze still hadn't found any weapon yet.

He was now in a frantic frenzy because he only had 20 minutes and other players would either find a meca-gun, digital katana, double sided axe or a staff and he on the other hand hadn't found any.

He kept searching for 10 more minutes and still found nothing.

Now he was feeling too hopeless. "Didn't they say it would be an easy play" he thought as he clicked on his gaming mice with the inter changeable side plates making his grip more solid and smooth.

He eventually got to a player. "cheating was very much legal, right?" he thought and grabbed the player's weapon but in turn earned a blast from the other party who shunned him through the audio chat.

He only had five minutes left before the countdown ended and no matter what he did, nothing worked and the cheats in the book was only liable for combat.

He decided to trail of into the woods in hope of being eliminated in private.

Three minutes in, he saw a glowing blue dot on the mini-map which showed that a weapon was close by.

He immediately rushed towards it hoping to make it while his hope of being a millionaire was slowly getting rekindled.

He had only one minutes left and the damn weapon seemed to switch locations every time he got closer to it.

He was no feeling frustrated and mad to the extent that he almost hit his expensive keyboard hard. Luckily he regained his senses in time.

With twenty seconds of the time left, he just ran frantically left, right, back and forth.

With five seconds left, he'd already gave up…or not?…

4…3…he then stood fixed in a single spot expecting…2 he then crossed his legs as he couldn't leave the mice nor keyboard as he stared intently at the screen.

1...congratulations player User432234 for acquiring the legendary weapon….

With the time up, those who failed to acquire a weapon were surprisingly not eliminated which was a rare occurrence. Because even before the game began, thousands players had already been eliminated and therefore loosing their once in a lifetime chance of claiming a reward that huge.

Blaze literally fell of the chair when the break-countdown of an hour began.

It was already late when he looked up, he'd never expected his too-risky and stupid idea to actually work.

Back when he was chasing after the weapon in the forest, he discovered that the weapon would only switch locations in a Specific time and Repetitive motion.

So after decoding this fact, he was almost out of time and decided to stay still so rather than him going after it, it would be it heading towards him and just in a nick of time, his foolish idea actually worked.

Which was why he then hugged Blake who got very gloomy as his peace sleep was interrupted.

He ignored Blaze's chatting and screaming at the litter box shaped thingy (PC/Monitor), only for him to repay him by interrupting his peaceful sleep.

He just wasn't up for a cat fight right now because he knew he would win, so he lightly pawed his way off of Blaze's embrace and head to the kitchen like the big-boss he was.

Blaze was very thrilled, not just because his foolish idea worked, but also because he was lucky enough to get a legendary weapon…

He had less than an hour left so he decided to have dinner and feed the little - big-boss waiting on the fridge in the kitchen.
