Blake's favorite spot was the highest place in the kitchen.
He loved the fridge because he could look down on this filthy human (Blaze) while he prepared his meal and serve him.
He saw the filthy human walking into his other territory (kitchen) and started to prepare his food like always.
He loved to watch this peasant run around trying to please him.
Blake had always been like so, since he was adopted by Blaze on a charity event.
Not that he was into this pet thingy, he just adopted Blake because he stood proud and tall with his head held high whilst being locked up in a cage unlike the other stray animals there.
Why was Blake named "Blake?", ask Blaze who was too lazy to name a pet.
Blake's full body, was covered in thick and silky black fur. His front paws and left hind paw was of white fur while his right hind paw was black.
With piercing dark blue eyes, he gazed at Blaze as he prepared his meal.
His food was then placed on the kitchen floor and he hopped off the fridge, landing on all fours and catwalking (in a prideful male cat way), towards his food.
He was about to eat when he saw that his milk hadn't been served yet, so, he sat with his hind legs and meowed at the forgetful human who he must remind before he gets his drink delivered.
He assumed the foolish human had heard his commanding voice so he stopped as his drink was then delivered to him.
He loved having a nice white milk before his meals.
After having a little portion of his milk, Blake began to eat with no haste.
He loved how the foolish human glances at him while he ate.
To him, the human who had catnip for brain, was asking him to share and he, as a prideful male cat specie, won't give a drop or tiny chunk to anyone.
After eating, he sipped his milk, not forgetting to savor every creamy taste it had to offer.
All done with his meal, he stretched and turned around with his tail in the air, dusting his hind paws, he left the cleaning to the catnip brained human and majestically walking aways.
Blaze needn't bother with Blake because he knew he was headed to his most precious territory. Which was Blaze's bed by the way.
Blake being the territorial cat he is, prefers to have his territory to himself but he pitied this fragile and lazy human, so he lets him take his cat bed but he wasn't satisfied.
He might be prideful, but, he was also a cat with a little heart.
He'd always try pushing the unsatisfied human off his private space, but he was never able to.
Not because he was lazy…, it's just that he's afraid to hurt the fragile and loyal catnip brained human, which he takes good care of….
Getting to his most loved territory (Bedroom), he walked to his favorite spot (Blaze's bed), stretching again and hopping on the bed, locating a comfortable spot,he dragged a white fluffy pillow to the middle of the bed and seeing what he worked hard to prepare, he climbed on, stretched his flexibly body and getting a shut eye while protecting his loyal human as he sleeps.
------------------------------
Blaze had just finished eating his meal when he got a call from his mother whose voice was filled with excitement which was long lost since his father's accident.
"Your father moved his fingers today!!!" His mother shrilled on the other side of the phone causing him to move it away from his ear.
"Really?!!" Blaze asked and his mother replied saying "yes!!!!!!…he did!!".
"If his mother is this happy because his dad moved a finger, what would happen when his father fully recovers" Blaze thought with a smile.
They talked on the phone for a while before ending the call.
He hurried back to his room feeling overly excited.
He launched at the peacefully napping cat which got frightened and jumped off the bed in reflex.
He chased the cat about but it kept running away.
They ran from the bedroom to the kitchen then to the small livingroom, then to the kitchen again and finally, a forbidden territory for Blake, which was the bathroom.
He hated water as much as he taught water hated him, so he does his every best to avoid this part of town.
Blaze eventually caught him and carried him as he narrated his chat with his mother and shared the good news regarding his dad.
And for once in never…, Blake felt a sudden change of emotion towards this catnip brained human.
It was like, this human got promoted from a peasant to a personal human servant.
Blake was carried into the bedroom where he regained his senses and jumped off this personal human servant's arms and back to his comfy nap area.
He stretched and meowed then he curled up into a fluffy fur ball and slept in peace while Blaze returned back to his gaming.
The countdown was already down to a minute and some seconds, just enough time for his to prepare himself before the game begins.
When the countdown ended, they were now placed in a bright tunnel which Blaze assumed as the labyrinth of shadows.
Unlike its name, it looked very bright.
The usual notification board pops up stating that they had already begun stage three: Labyrinth of shadows, they had an hour to find the exit, and a pause and save feature and respawning was in progress(which made players happy), also they were given an hour thirty minutes to complete the third stage.
And then the notification cleared as soon as Blaze finished reading and clicked anywhere to continue.
A transparent objective board was now added to the bottom left of the screen with only two mission/objective.
1. Find the exit before the time runs out.
2. Locate the hidden gem…
The only thing was that it came at a cost…
