UNFORTUNATE ENCOUNTER

With trees crashing, the entire forest crumbling as it approaches, the players activated their weapons.

Players that are now left were just 40,no more…no less (for now).

The creature capable enough to cause utmost silence in a bustling forest, with just a slight touch of its scales against the trees made them come crashing down, a movement of its capable enough to cause a quake to the ground,a hiss from its throat, enough to chase away any lurking shadows as it sounded like an opposing growl, slowly rose off the ground and screech very loudly as though roaring.

Its scales, fading green and sharp, the line from its throat to its stomach, golden turning brown with age. Eyes, red and sharp with fangs as sharp as a double edged knife, its hood fully protruded with the entire thing green as its body with the sharp tip red and strong. . .

Its tail rattling as it flexibly folded its body with it tongue flickering in and out without rhythm.

It stared at the game characters with an imposing aura as though they were nothing but wannabe heroes.

It screeched again but this time louder and almost deafening.

Chat box;

"It's here!"

"Oh not again,I almost got eliminated last time"

"Is that a freaking huge snake"

"No it's a cute harmless bunny, stop asking the obvious"

"Y'all don't know what you're in for"

"Isn't she a deadly beauty. Wait,is it a she or a he"

"Why don't you go find out".

The mission board pops up again and as usual it gave them no clue as to what they'd do, all it said was that they were battling the great fang and they are to survive if they want the cash prize by the time the countdown of 20 whole minutes ends.

"As expected of our loving Not your Concern" Blaze thought as he spots Darius with his player id (Player00547) hovering above his head.

He was just about to go over when the gigantic snake began to attack with its rattling tail.

They all dodged and again, another round of battle began.

They all charged at the gigantic snake at the same time. Using strong spell, Melee and range attack to fight the ferocious snake that seems very powerful.

It's HP was over 100,000. And it seemed to be immune to most of their attacks.

"Not again",Blaze grunts as he was pushed back down to top 3,he then decided to go and fight with his fist again.

He tried that but…instead of the beastly snake's HP to reduce, his character's HP was the one reducing.

"Poison, just as I thought" he said in frustration as he was pushed down to the top 4 on the Leaderboard.

He had to survive if he wanted the reward.

And besides, it wasn't stated that they couldn't hide and wait till the countdown ended.

"Afterall he that runs away, lives to fight another day" he said and his behind a tree hoping to rest his fingers with the sound effect produced by the ongoing battle, clearly audible.

"Why is it always this slow" Blaze said looking at the slowly regenerating HP of his character.

He didn't have any thing to do so, he opened his character's statistics.

"Great" Blaze said "so,just by hiding,my reputation decreases".

"At least it's only that" he said and closed the character stat tab.

He thought about finding his dropped inventory items and went further back into the woods.

He didn't know where he'd left it because all the trees looked alike and there was nothing to guide him to his lost loot.

He decided to go back straight down the bush-less forest.

"Cowardly grasses, hiding at the first sight of danger"Blaze said as he saw the bushes which had withdrawn into the ground, poking out.

He himself was cowardly enough to his behind a tree at the first sight of danger but here he is calling another version of his cowardly self (bushes/grasses) a coward.

He did pay the price though. Because he was on the top 2 but now…,he was down to…top 8.

Feeling angry, he muttered undecipherable words while he continued straight down.

"17 minutes left" he said and decided to hurry in order to make it in time.

He didn't really need any of those things, all he wanted were the potions because, they were very hard to come by.

Just as he thought about going back, he finally found his loot but, something had already gotten there before him.

He thought about fighting it off, pick up his potions and head back to the exit before it's too late afterall he only had 14 minutes left.

Upon getting there, he found it rather strange.

The something or better yet, creature was eating his geckos (not that he really needed them though).

The closer he got, the more confused he was.

Because, that creature was non other than those ferocious tarantulas they'd battled with.

Now, it seemed less…hostile and monstrous. It was even scared of Blaze.

"Can I call this creepy or weird" Blaze thought "this game keeps getting weirder and weirder".

He eventually got there but the tarantula ran away while looking back with a frightened look in its eyes.

"What made me think it would still be here" Blaze thought "someone must have probably picked it up".

He interacted with the gecko and picked it up.

He also noticed that the tarantula's eyes were on the gecko. He turned left and the tarantula did the same.

He knew he couldn't communicate with the weird spider, so, he threw the gecko towards it and in an instant the tarantula began eating it up.

He picked up the half eaten one and slowly walked towards the tarantula which seemed alert and panicked.

Since he couldn't communicate with it, he tried using hand gesture. He threw the other gecko at it and raised his hands up in a surrender motion while waving.

All this scared the spider causing it to grab the other gecko and ran away at a swift pace.

"Shit!, Shit!!" Blaze anxiously spoke "I've only got 9 minutes left".

He then ran straight down the path. Luckily, he was able to make it in seven minutes because he wasn't looking about like when he was searching for the potions.

He looked back and the shadow of a figure hiding.

"Weird" he thought and almost cried when he found himself at the top 10.

"There's always a next time to climb back up" He said and held on to this phrase a his motivation and reminder.

When the countdown ended, the gigantic snake screeched very loudly, almost sounding like a roar as its hood were fully extended.

It then slittered back Into the forest with the entire place quaking as it left.

A light effect surrounded the exit and it instantly burst, scattering shards of glasses that dissolves after meeting with the ground.

Players cheered (even though they didn't deal much damage to the monstrous snake) and immediately rushed in so as to avoid any other unfortunate encounter.

"Huhh?" Blaze thought as he saw a dark figure lurking in the shadows.

Upon entering the exit door, a notification pops up on his screen...
