SERIES OF BATTLE

In a state of reflex due to the unseen course of event, the players started running forward.

Blaze kept dodging the rocks as they were hurled towards his character.

With a combination of buttons and clicks on his gaming mouse, he progressed further into the woods.

When he could finally see clearly without the mist blocking his view of what's ahead, he breathe a sigh of relief because he'd made it through.

Or so he thought...

Just then, out of the tall trees came multiple black tarantulas.

It's body, although not as big as the game characters, was half their size, very swift and agile.

"Oh…come on" Blaze said as he didn't know how to use the weapon he'd found.

He'd tried throwing it away, but it kept coming back.

All those time, he'd been fighting with his hands.

He looked at the HP bar hovering on the descending tarantulas which had a whooping 3000 and opened his character stats to check what he's got.

"Should work" he stated and opened his inventory and inside it has the following.

In-game items in inventory:

3 common potions / 1 SSS tier weapon / 2 dead geckos / common Armor / common magic staff / common grim blade / blue hat / green hat / yellow hat.

He closed his inventory.

"What's with all these hats and those geckos…" Blaze thought.

Sighing, he brushed those thoughts off and focused all his attention on the prize money.

"Maybe they're nice…?" Blaze thought.

The tarantulas upon getting on the ground, stopped snarling and started screeching then attacking players.

Those who's got the ability to fly were feeling very excited that they could fly again. But not for long…

Players activated their weapons.

Hacking and slashing the tarantulas which seems to drop no loot.

Blaze who still failed to activate his despite multiple attempts as a tarantula rapidly rushed towards him, gave up and used his fist.

After several punching, the tarantula lay d*** on the ground as Blaze proceeded further battling more.

The tarantulas were dropping like rain drops and the players were getting further and further into the woods with the exit still not in sight.

Just then, a red warning sign began beeping on the screen and when it stopped, everything fell silent.

The tarantulas screeched very loudly and then began to clatter and snarl as they withdrew.

The chat box was now very active again.

"What's going on"

"I don't feel great about this"

"That's odd why did they run away"

"I bet their papa or mama or both is coming"

" Could it be something they're scared of ".

"That prize money is mine"

"Who's this!?".

Just then, buzzing sounds could be heard from every angles in the woods from a very far distance.

Chat box;

" Is that what I think it is?"

"Should we stay"

"Run, everyone run"

Just then, they saw other players, probably those who took the dimly lit tunnel leading upwards.

They seemed very resolved and fast as they ran away from something.

Without thinking, the players that'd just battled the tarantulas ran forward while the others joined them.

The buzzing sound seemed to be getting louder and more audible.

They ran as fast as their characters could until they could see the exit door.

Those who could fly were the first to get there but they reversed as the saw bees bigger than themselves heading towards them, some stayed a fought but got K.Od.

Players which were sprinting saw those flying heading towards them and stopped as they took saw the bees.

"We're trapped!,I like it!" A random player commented.

"It's party time!" Another added

"Hoorah, c'mon yo' honey makers"and another then the chat box exploded with comments of those eager for battle.

"So, Not your concern never wanted us to escape" Blaze thought and tried to activate his weapon but failed.

He was done for. He could see the prize money taking flight right before his eyes.

What would he do?. If he hid, there's a 100 percent chance that he'd hit the bottom list on the Leaderboard.

He was happy when he found out he'd gotten a legendary weapon but now he's not.

He hated the fact that he'd seen the weapon but held on to the fact that he'd have been gone a long time back if it wasn't for the weapon.

What made him hopeful was that his character was indeed a rare one as he'd thought.

The bees surrounded them and an epic battle broke out.

It was tough, exciting yet frightening, thrilling and deathly.

Players activated their weapons and began hacking the beastly bees and Blaze almost spew blood as he was pushed four ranks down. He was now placed on the sixth position.

Not accepting it, he gave up on the useless weapon he found and threw it away, accidentally offloading his entire inventory.

He didn't have time to pick them up so he too, got in on the action with his fist while his weapon returns back.

He was fast and every hit he landed was precise and critical.

Hopping on one of the bee which took him high off the ground, he punched a see through hole into it.

Then hopped on another and punching his way up to the third spot on the Leaderboard.

As though the bees had a brain, they began attacking in groups of four on one player.

Chat box;

"This isn't right" a player commented

"Where is it?" Another comment

"It was just right behind us"

"Is it gone?"

" I don't think that's possible"

"What r u talking 'bout"

"All players for themselves!"

"Every man for them selves"

After the bees grouped themselves, the battle got a lot more heated.

Players who'd used up all their HP potions and almost out of HP were quickly ended by the bees which then joined forces with other four groups each.

Blaze kept Punching his way till he got back to top 2.

But, he couldn't feel relaxed because, he couldn't climb up the top 1 no matter what he does.

Not wanting other players to push him off his spot on the Leaderboard, he continued fighting.

Soon, the bees were reduced to less than ten.

Just then, the ground started quaking again.

But this time more heavily and rhythmically.

The bees flew off leaving the players who had no idea of what's happening to drift into thoughts.

Chat box;

"This is the second darn time"

"Why do they keep doing that"

"Bet they got scared"

The chat box were filled with cheers as players got to the exit but were unable to go through even though it's open.

Suddenly, the ground started quaking again.

Chat box;

"Is this even a game,it all feels too real"

"How do we get in?"

"It's blocked by some sort of force field"

"Nothing's working".

Among all those comments, only one stood out.

"It's here, it's really here"…

To be continued ...
