Till's grin faded abruptly in the next moment.
"But you don't have the power to do that. You don't understand who my family are, what they're like. I don't have a choice in this." He shook his head sadly.
Ezra simply smiled whilst Love raised her eyebrow, why did he look so confident?
"I didn't ask if you thought it was possible, Till. Is it what you want the most, to be free of it and be yourself, without your parents' intervention?" His soothing voice calmed Till's heart as he stared back at Ezra's confident gaze.
What did he mean was this what he wanted? It was all he'd ever wanted. Just to be himself.
Till nodded slowly, "...yes." He replied in a small voice.
Smiling crookedly, Ezra sat back and pulled up a holographic screen that hovered above the leather cladding on his desk and dialled a commlink ID.
"Who are you calling?" Till asked curiously.
"Your mother."
