Sarah barely registered the screams behind her. All she saw was fire.

Without a second thought, she ran.
"Sarah, NO!" Damian's voice tore through the air, but she didn't stop.
Her legs moved faster than she thought possible, her heart hammering as she charged straight into the inferno.
The heat hit her like a brutal slap, searing her skin instantly. Smoke clogged her lungs, but she forced herself forward. She had to find him.
Her vision blurred as flames licked the walls around her, the fire spreading rapidly. It was suffocating. Overwhelming.
