Xavier finally spoke, his voice hoarse but steady. "Then you should've brought stronger men."
Pedro's smirk faded.
Ria let out a low chuckle. "Oh, he still has bite. How charming."
Pedro stood abruptly, cracking his knuckles. "We'll see how much bite you have left when you're screaming in agony."
He snapped his fingers.
The door swung open, and two men walked in, each carrying large metal canisters. The pungent smell of gasoline filled the air.
Xavier's expression didn't change, but deep inside, he knew what was coming.
"You took everything from me," Pedro muttered, his voice thick with hatred. "So I'm taking everything from you. Your power. Your legacy. Your life."
