Samuel Coming

Riya checked her phone and found out that Claire also came back home. This way, there were only three people who were left in the dormitory and didn't dare to come out.

She, Amelia, and Ruby.

Ruby might not have any place to come back because her family stayed far away from here.

Besides, she had immense love for research. Staying here and able to do research should be something that she loved very much.

"Little Riya."

"Hmm?"

"My brother is coming." Amelia smiled bitterly. "It seems that I'll be going back home soon too."

"That's a good news." Riya showed a smile.

She might be a bit lonely to stay here by herself, but it also meant that she didn't need to worry about her secret leaked out through Amelia. It was not like she didn't trust Amelia, but this secret was heavy.

Riya didn't want to take the risk at all.

"I thought that I can stay here until the mist disappear. It seems that I'll be brought back and forced to train again." Amelia had a bitter smile.

Riya chose not to comment anything. After experiencing that world, she herself would rather have some means to protect herself. It was not like this world was not safe, but seeing how the world was changing, having some means to protect herself would make her feel more at ease.

At the very least, Riya didn't want to have an accident.

"Hopefully, the mist will disappear soon enough." Riya glanced outside, thinking that it would indeed disappear.

However, she didn't know how the increase in mana would actually affect the world in the global scale. Normal humans wouldn't be able to sense the mana when they were so thin like this without the proper method.

But those with exceptional talent might be affected to a certain degree.

'Hopefully, it'll not be the start of a new strange era too.'

Riya sighed internally.

"Yeah."

"Also, help me to clean up. Your brother doesn't like messy things, right?" Riya pointed at the kitchen where they technically tossed all the trash in plastic bags tossed to the corner.

They didn't have the time to care for these lately.

It was simply too busy.

Amelia's face turned blue. "I forgot about this… How did you know?"

"You mentioned it in the chat in the past." Riya had been Amelia's roommate for almost four years. She still knew some things that Amelia shared despite the fact that Amelia actually spent less than half a year in the dormitory for the past four years.

"Ah… You have good memory. As expected of the good student."

Riya rolled her eyes and pulled Amelia to help her in the kitchen. There was no way she would be willing to be the only one to take care of the mess.

They couldn't get out, so the clothes were dried using hair dryer. It was not the best option, but it was better than nothing. Thankfully, electricity was not cut off. They could still use the gas and many others.

After an hour of tossing around, the room was finally clean enough.

Well, not very clean but it was presentable enough.

Knock! Knock!

"My brother should be here." Amelia stepped forward and looked through the hole. Seeing her brother, she unlocked the key and opened the door.
