I SUPPORT YOU DIVORCE

The person sent Bai Qing an audio clip.

Bai Qing clicked to play it.

"Mo Xiao, you're amazing, I really like you."

"Qiqi, I love you too. You're truly irresistible."

"Mo Xiao, I want to be with you forever, to be your rightful wife and bear your children."

"I want to be with you too. I'll make sure Bai Qing donates her bone marrow to you. Everything is arranged, don't worry."

"Mo Xiao, harder, I want more pleasure."

"Alright, I'll fulfill your wish."

Crash!

The phone in Bai Qing's hand slipped and fell onto the carpet.

Her face turned ashen, her entire body trembling.

He said everything was already arranged.

Was he really planning to force her?

How could they be so shameless!

Doing such things, and still thinking about her bone marrow?

How could Mo Xiao be so despicable?

Is this the man she's loved for ten years?

Her sincere heart had been so wrongly placed. She had never felt so disgusted.

She composed herself, picked up the phone again, and sent a message:

"Who are you?"

But the person had already deleted her.

Their sole purpose was to let her hear this recording.

Perhaps they meant well, warning her about Mo Xiao and Yun Qiqi's affair.

Or maybe it was Yun Qiqi herself, flaunting it.

Whichever it was, Bai Qing felt utterly repulsed.

Since they deleted her, she wouldn't add them back either.

She saved the recording.

She would keep it as evidence for the future.

——

The next day.

When Bai Qing woke up, she went downstairs for breakfast.

Shen Wan glanced at her, "Mo Xiao didn't come home last night?"

Bai Qing nodded.

"That child," Shen Wan was displeased.

"It's probably because he's too busy at work. Besides, the old mansion is a bit far from the office, so he stayed at the apartment," Bai Qing explained.

Shen Wan gave her a meaningful look.

How much longer is she going to cover for Mo Xiao?

"I'll call him later," Shen Wan said.

Bai Qing hesitated, "Mom, let it go. He's really busy lately. It's the end of the quarter, even if he had time, he wouldn't be hanging around the hospital."

Every quarter's end was always a busy time for Mo Xiao.

Bai Qing had figured out his pattern.

The busier he was, the more ruthlessly he would take her.

And then he would head to work, refreshed.

Except now, the person he desired was Yun Qiqi, not her.

She should be thankful to Yun Qiqi for relieving her from being his outlet.

Shen Wan remained silent, but Bai Qing knew that didn't mean she wouldn't make the call.

Shen Wan went straight to the hospital.

She stormed into Yun Qiqi's room.

And there was Mo Xiao.

Yun Qiqi was acting coy, "Mo Xiao, feed me."

"Don't you have hands?" Shen Wan crossed her arms, "If they're useless, might as well cut them off."

"Mom, why are you here?" Mo Xiao frowned.

Shen Wan glared at him, "You were wearing this same outfit yesterday."

And still wearing it now.

So, he really stayed here last night.

"I just came from the office. I was planning to head home to change," Mo Xiao explained indifferently.

He wasn't lying.

After his argument with Bai Qing, he had gone straight to work.

He had been busy until seven in the morning when Yun Qiqi called him, and that's when he came over.

"Mo Xiao, you are my only son. All your life, I've respected your choices," Shen Wan said coldly. "In these twenty-six years, the only time I interfered was in your relationship with this woman."

"Auntie, I know you don't like me, but..." Yun Qiqi began, her voice delicate.

"Shut your mouth. What right do you have to speak in front of me?" Shen Wan cut her off icily.

Yun Qiqi lowered her head in feigned grievance.

She was doing it on purpose.

She wanted Mo Xiao to feel sorry for her.

"Yun Qiqi, don't play tricks. You're only doing this to gain Mo Xiao's sympathy, aren't you?" Shen Wan exposed her. "I'll tell you this — I stopped you two before, and I'll keep stopping you. I'd rather see Mo Xiao single for life than let you set foot in the Mo family."

Yun Qiqi bit her lip.

"Mom, Qiqi didn't mean it like that," Mo Xiao frowned.

"Mo Xiao, I understand women better than you," Shen Wan said icily. "If staying with her means Bai Qing will suffer, then as her parents are no longer around, I'll make the decision for her today. You two will divorce. I'll speak to your grandmother. Stop tormenting that poor girl."

With that, Shen Wan turned and left.

Mo Xiao furrowed his brow.

Had she come all this way just to tell him that?

Yun Qiqi's heart leaped with joy.

If Shen Wan could facilitate their divorce, she would overlook the insults she had just endured.

"Mo Xiao, we can finally be together openly," Yun Qiqi said, tearfully joyful.

Mo Xiao gave her a deep look.

"Finish your meal. I'll go check on things."

He couldn't shake a strange feeling.

Why had Shen Wan suddenly agreed to the divorce?

He wasn't used to it.

He thought his family had all been against it.

And now, he found himself wanting to return.

To see Bai Qing.

——

After breakfast, Bai Qing was about to head back to her room when the old lady of the Mo family called her over.

She walked up to her.

"Grandma."

"Come, sit." The old lady patted the edge of the bed.

Bai Qing went over and sat down, her voice soft, "Grandma, are you feeling better?"

"Much better." The old lady took Bai Qing's hand, "But why are your hands so cold, child?"

"Maybe I'm just wearing too little. Don't worry, Grandma, I'll wear more later," Bai Qing replied.

The old lady looked at her with affection, then sighed deeply, "Qingbao, has Yun Qiqi come back?"

Bai Qing froze.

How did the old lady know?!

"Qingbao, there are no secrets in this world. There are things I can't be kept in the dark about," the old lady said softly. "Back in the day, Yun Qiqi's mother, that fox, stirred up so much trouble in the capital. Many despised her, and everyone knows what kind of person Yun Qiqi is. I knew the moment she came back."

Bai Qing pressed her lips together, "Grandma, I didn't mean to hide it from you."

"I know, my dear. You were just afraid I'd faint again," the old lady sighed. "But I've made you suffer."

Bai Qing was fragile, and with the old lady's words, tears welled up immediately.

She knew they all cared about her, and she didn't want to burden them.

The old lady saw her crying and felt even more heartache, "Qingbao, I've been too foolish. I thought marrying you to Mo Xiao would bring you happiness. But I realize now that instead, you've been carrying our family's burdens. It was I who stopped Mo Xiao from marrying Yun Qiqi, and it was I who made you marry him. You've borne the pain in silence to spare me worry, but I promised your parents I'd make you happy. And now you're not happy, and I feel so guilty."

"Grandma, don't say that," Bai Qing's eyes were red, "You've always loved me. You wanted to make me a rightful member of the Mo family so everyone would care for me. I understand."

The old lady patted her head, "How are you so good?"

Bai Qing wept.

"Qingbao, I won't be selfish anymore. I support your divorce from Mo Xiao," the old lady said with a heavy heart.
