Kaido glaring at Gordon and Zexer, who were on the wooden execution platform. The citizens scurried away, realizing that a fight was about to erupt. Kaido, momentarily angered by Gordon's comment about Xebec, took a deep breath and calmed himself. He chuckled, a deep rumbling sound that quickly turned into a booming laugh.
"WORORORORO!" Kaido roared. "I've sobered up now because of that comment..." His expression darkened for a brief moment, his gaze distant as if annoyed. Then, with a sigh, he brought his flask to his lips, taking a long swig of booze before setting it down carefully beside him.
To the surprise of Zexer, Kaido then sat cross-legged on the ground.
Zexer furrowed his brows in confusion. "Huh… What is he doing?" he quietly asked Gordon.
Gordon scoffed, arms crossed. "There's no manners to these idiot drunkards."
Gordon then stepped down from the platform, his leather shoe clacking against the stone ground as he stood in front of Kaido and a cloaked individual behind him. Zexer followed closely, his weapon drawn, his abilities subtly shifting the space around him in preparation.
Despite Gordon's own massive height, standing at nearly 15 feet, Kaido still dwarfed him at 24 feet, even while sitting. The sheer presence of the Kaido was overwhelming. But Gordon remained unmoved.
For a brief second, Gordon's gaze flicked past Kaido, landing on a white-haired, dark-skinned figure standing quietly in the background. His eyes narrowed.
And in that same instant!
Kaido moved.
Like a whipping storm, Kaido's Kanabo came swinging from Infront, his massive arm twisting at an unnatural speed. The air itself wavered, and the very pressure of his attack felt like it could demolish anything on contact!
Gordon's instincts flared. He was going to get hit...
Kaido's ACOC (Advanced Conqueror's Coating) exploded outward, a massive black and purple lightning streak crackling violently as the kanabo neared its target.
But then,
BOOM!
A gigantic shield intercepted the attack.
Goliath had appeared beside Gordon, planting his massive, fortress-like shield against the oncoming blow.
The impact was devastating.
The ground beneath Goliath shattered and cratered, and with a resounding shockwave, the giant was sent flying through multiple buildings, crashing through walls like paper before finally stopping.
All while still sitting!
Kaido threw his head back and laughed.
"WORORORORO! WORORORORO! A GIANT?!? WORORORO!"
Slamming his kanabo into the ground, he stood up, his towering frame casting a colossal shadow over Gordon.
Then, with no hesitation, he ripped off his cloak, revealing his battle-hardened physique, and in that instant-
A tidal wave of Conqueror's Haki burst forth!
Purple streaks of electricity rippled outward, shaking the entire city. Buildings cracked, glass shattered, and debris tumbled from rooftops as the sheer pressure forced the weaker-willed Revolutionary soldiers that were hiding in secret fall.
Gordon, unfazed, stepped forward, unleashing his own Golden Conqueror's Haki, the pressure pushing back against Kaido's like an unrelenting storm. The sky itself rumbled, splitting down the middle.
For now, they were equals.
Above them, on a rooftop, Zexer already repositioning, perched, his eyes carefully analyzing the situation below.
And that's when he noticed it.
The white-haired figure was gone.
Zexer's Observation Haki flared violently.
And just in time-
Swoosh!
A blade sliced through the space he had just occupied.
Zexer leaped, turned into mist, repositioning several feet away, his shoes skidding across the tiles as he turned sharply to face his attacker.
The misty air dispersed.
The hooded figure lowered his cloak.
It was King.
Kaido's Right-Hand Man.
His red eyes locked onto Zexer, his katana radiating outward with coating.
Zexer slowly smirked, spinning his weapon in hand. "Oh, this just got a lot more interesting."
The air trembled as Kaido and Gordon's Conqueror's Haki clashed.
Purple lightning arced wildly through the streets as the sky above darkened, the clouds swirling ominously. The entire island felt the weight of these two Haki users staring each other down, both radiating raw, uncontested power.
Kaido grinned, his fangs glinting.
"WORORORO! So you can withstand my presence, huh? Not bad!"
Gordon stood firm, his cape fluttering from the force of the haki collision. His arms were crossed, his expression unreadable.
"Hmph. You talk too much."
Kaido's eyes flashed.
"THEN LET'S FIGHT!!"
BOOM!
With a thunderous stomp, Kaido launched forward, the sheer impact of his movement cratering the ground behind him. His kanabo swung in a devastating arc, the weapon coated in ACOC, black lightning crackling as it split through the air.
Swoosh!
Gordon didn't flinch. In a blur, he shifted his footing, twisting just enough for the attack to barely graze past him. The very air behind him ruptured from the sheer force of the near-miss.
Kaido's grin widened.
"WORORORORO! YOU'RE QUICK!"
Before Gordon could respond, Kaido twisted mid-swing, bringing his kanabo around for a reverse strike-
{RAIMEI HAKKE!}
The air detonated as the attack came down, but-
BANG!
A massive metal shield intercepted the blow.
Goliath, bruised and bloodied, had already returned to the battlefield, his towering figure casting a shadow over Gordon. His shield groaned under the pressure, but the giant held firm, his massive boots digging into the ground.
This time, Goliath coated with Haki, deflects Kaido's attack sending him to skid back a few feet.
"I won't let you just swing around as you please, Beast."
Kaido snarled in excitement.
"A GIANT WITH BALLS! I LIKE IT!"
[Back to Zexer vs King]
The air between them crackled, the tension palpable.
King had drawn his sword. His cloak whipping in the wind as he slowly rolled his shoulders.
"I suppose I should expect nothing less from someone with the nerve to stand against Kaido," King muttered, voice cold.
Zexer smirked under his mask, his blade glowing faintly with his own Haki.
"And you must be the one who cleans up his mess."
Swoosh!
King vanished.
In a blink, he reappeared right where Zexer had been, his sword slashing through the empty air.
Zexer had already relocated again-
But not fast enough.
Shhhkt!
A thin red line appeared across Zexer's chest as blood seeped from the shallow wound.
King stood behind him.
Slowly, he raised his sword, shaking off the blood like it was nothing.
"Too slow."
Zexer clenched his teeth, his eyes narrowing.
'I dodged at the last moment, but his speed is insane…'
King turned his head slightly, his fiery wings expanding, burning off his cloak.
"If you can't keep up, I suggest you run."
Zexer's smirk widened.
"Run? You're funny."
Then-
The sky above ROARED.
Both Zexer and King momentarily turned their attention to the battlefield below.
Kaido and Gordon had re-engaged.
Kaido's kanabo swung again-
{THUNDER BAGUA!!}
Gordon's own fist slammed forward, a black-coated shockwave blasting outward as he intercepted the attack with his own haki-infused strike.
BOOOOOOM!
The entire execution platform erupted, sending rubble flying in all directions.
Zexer's eyes flickered toward King.
"I'll deal with you later."
King frowned.
Swoosh!
Zexer vanished, appearing in the midst of the destruction just in time to see Kaido and Gordon breaking apart from their latest clash.
Kaido, now grinning like a maniac, cracked his neck.
"GOOD! THIS IS GOOD! I HAVEN'T FELT THIS EXCITED IN A WHILE!"
Gordon flexed his fingers, his muscles tensing.
"You're going to regret sobering up for this."
Gordon, his fists wrapped in advanced armament, darted forward, launching a powerful blow straight into Kaido's gut. The impact sent ripples through Kaido's massive frame, but the beast of a man barely flinched. Instead, he grinned wickedly, his kanabo already mid-swing.
"WORORORORO! THAT ALL YOU GOT?!" Kaido roared, bringing his weapon down in a monstrous arc.
Gordon barely managed to cross his arms in defense before the attack connected.
BOOM!
The sheer force sent him skidding back, his feet digging trenches into the cracked ground. Blood dripped from his knuckles, his muscles aching from the monstrous strength Kaido wielded. Still, he refused to back down.
With a deep breath, Gordon surged forward again, his fists coated in the eerie glow of Gold conqueror's coating.
He struck Kaido's ribs with a brutal hook, the sheer force sending a thunderous shockwave outward. The blow landed clean, but Kaido merely spat blood to the side before laughing again.
"WORORORORO! YOU'RE STRONG, BUT I'M GETTING BORED!" Kaido bellowed, his expression darkening. "TIME TO END THIS!"
Gordon's expression remained unreadable. Then, with deliberate motion, he reached toward his torso. Kaido raised an eyebrow as Gordon's chest distorted, his body morphing due to his Devil Fruit.
A moment later, Gordon pulled from within himself, all-white, gold embroider katana, Setsuna. The blade was ethereal, nearly weightless, yet it radiated an unnatural sharpness.
Kaido's eyes widened slightly, his bloodthirsty grin returning. "WORORO… NOW THAT LOOKS FUN!"
With newfound vigor, Kaido lunged, his kanabo tearing through the air. But this time, Gordon met him head-on.
CLANG!
Their weapons clashed, the impact sending an explosive burst of energy through the surroundings. The ground split apart, buildings crumbled from the sheer force of their battle.
Kaido swung again, his kanabo a blur of destruction, but Gordon parried with a quick pivot. The lightweight nature of Setsuna allowed him to maneuver effortlessly, slipping past Kaido's attacks, retaliating with deadly precision.
Kaido gritted his teeth as fresh cuts began appearing on his arms and torso. Although not enough to create scars, the blade was cutting him! a rarity!
Gordon pressed his advantage, flickering around Kaido like the wind, his strikes coming from impossible angles. For the first time in the fight, Kaido felt himself struggling to keep up!
Meanwhile, on the rooftops, Zexer darted through the mist, his presence flickering. King's narrowed eyes followed him, his blade slicing through the air, but every time it seemed like he would land a clean hit, Zexer was already somewhere else.
"Tch." King scowled, flaring his observation haki. But the Mist-Mist Fruit was a tricky ability—it warped the air, making everything unpredictable. Even his haki couldn't fully pinpoint Zexer's position.
"Confused, flame boy?" Zexer's voice echoed from all directions. Then slash! A sudden gash appeared on King's side, blood spraying outward.
King growled in frustration, retaliating with a burst of flames from his back, igniting the mist. But Zexer was already gone. Another strike landed, then another!
Zexer moved around in quick succession, his attacks relentless.
King gritted his teeth. He was a Lunarian, a survivor. He refused to be outdone.
Flames erupted around him, the heat evaporating portions of the mist. He swung his blade in a wide arc, unleashing a fiery technique. "YOU CAN'T HIDE FOREVER!" unable to control his emotion, King yelled out in anger
But as the flames cleared, Zexer smirked, his figure materializing directly in front of King.
"I don't need to."
BAM!
A devastating knee strike sent King hurtling off the rooftop, crashing through the debris below. Zexer landed carefuly, spinning his weapon before settling into a stance.
"You... don't have much experience, do you?"
King wiped blood from his mouth, eyes burning with rage.
