Humans Are Special

Pushing the woman away, Salvatore smirked at her as she frantically patted her side, trying to find the knife wounds he had given her. However, there would be nothing to see. 

Not only had he healed her outer skin, but he also 'healed' her clothing, too. 

Now if she told anyone what had happened, no one would believe her. Ever so slowly, she would bleed out from wounds she couldn't heal, and she would go insane. 

It wasn't an ideal form of vengeance for what she had done to Hattie, but Salvatore refused to spend a moment longer than he had to in her presence. 

Strolling over to Désiré, Salvatore pushed the unpleasantness from his mind even as he pushed his friend out of the way. "You deal," he grunted, plucking Hattie out from the center of the four me. 

Glaring at the human beside his woman, Salvatore spun around and walked down the main street.
