Ch 108: Don't take your time - Part 1

Zayne pulled the parchment out as he quickly glanced over it.

Whatever he was reading seemed interesting enough to grab his attention and make Zayne unable to look away.

But when Camelia asked to see it, he pulled it away in time…not that he needed to. Camelia could not read anything on the parchment anyway. To her, it was a blank piece of paper she had no idea about.

'It's fine! I will get more chances to check out what that is later. For now, I should make sure Zayne feels better about this place and his feelings.'

Camelia sighed before she walked away to sit down. She kept an eye on Zayne to make sure she would see if he needed help from her.

But Zayne looked busy the whole time as he kept reading the diary.

Finally, he was done, and Camelia quickly asked him about it.

"So, what did you find out when you read the diary? Was there anything about this place and its origins?"
