Lines We Crossed

In the small town of Willowbrook, Elara Rain is known for her mischievous spirit but struggles academically, ultimately failing fifth grade. As a consequence, her teacher pairs her with Alaric Vale, the brightest student in class and a diligent topper. Initially reluctant, Alaric soon discovers that tutoring Elara is more challenging than he anticipated, as her carefree attitude often clashes with his serious nature.



As their study sessions unfold, Elara finds herself drawn to Alaric's intelligence and kindness, sparking feelings she struggles to understand. However, her innocent affection is met with rejection when Alaric, focused on his studies and future goals, makes it clear that he cannot reciprocate her feelings. Heartbroken but determined, Elara embarks on a journey of self-discovery, learning that love can be as complex as schoolwork.
