Emily was seated back in her chair, her hands clasped together while amusingly observing both her companions, who had come here, she assumed, to scold her given the fact that neither of them looked happy staring at her.
"Um, so what did I do now? Explain fast; I have things I need to handle," Emily went straight to the point.
Fenrir and Vixie gave each other a look before turning back to Emily. "You have been neglecting us in favor of the humans," Vixie replied plainly. For once, her whole demeanor exuded the seriousness of the situation.
Emily wasn't in that much of a hurry to reply. She turned solely to Fenrir. "Do you also think so?"
"Yes, Master," Fenrir replied in a short and crisp tone.
Fenrir looked uncomfortable under Emily's stare, but she didn't shy away from it, and that amused Emily. It also filled her with some hope that maybe she would finally be able to understand what was really going on inside Fenrir's head.
