Chapter 10: Visiting her

After the shock of the time different that Lu Mingtian told Xiu Jing and Xiu Jia, It's been three days since then. Xiu Jing and Xiu Jia accompanied the unconscious Wei Yingzhen in her ward. Wei Zi the personal maid of Wei Yingzhen also help taking care of Wei Yingzhen's bathing. She always cleaned up Wei Yingzhen's body with warm water. 

On the sofa near Wei Yingzhen's hospital bed, Xiu Jing and Xiu Jia was talking to a man who has a similar solemn but handsome face to Chen Fu. He was Chen Feng the older brother of Chen Fu. " So It's really 21st centaury. it's more then a thousand and five hundred years from Wei Dynasty." Xiu Jing put the papers down on the table. 

Chen Feng nodded along with her. " Our men also bring more information about the timeline here. There's really no royal family left for this country but it control by the five families in capital domain. The lead is Lu family who help us. " Chen Feng's voice became quieter as he continued. " Lu family help us because there is a rule that Firearms can't be sold to other domains unless they sigh treaty contract with the Lu family along with other four families so it seemed like one of the five families sold the firearms to second prince." 

Xiu Jia gestured toward two of them. " How do they travel back and forth when we monitore second prince's move all the time? " Xiu Jing agreed with Xiu Jia question." That's right. We can only find out second prince and his partner which from one of those five families through Lu Family." Wei Zi who was caressing Wei Yingzhen's hand said aloud to them with kneaded eyebrows." Then do we need to stay in Lu family mansion when Princess wake up ?" 

Chen Feng looked up to her and answered with hoarse voice. " That's the only way. As Lu Yanghao said we don't know the force of the five families here. Those people might monitor us if they notice their men's disappearance along with our presents in Mount Tai and Princess had made a deal with Lu family already. If you have any objection, you can talk to Princess." Wei Zi signed in irritation. " I don't like those Lu people. that Lu siblings and Fang Meng, they looked at Princess, sister Jing, sister jia and me strangely." 

Xiu Jia snickered at Wei Zi's whinny. " Zizi, Did you still felt offend by Fang Meng 's action two days ago ?" Wei Zi saw Xiu Jia's teasing gestures and pointed her finger at her. " Three of you don't laugh. You should feel offend like me. What kind of man that kept retreating when I just took the foods and clothes that he prepared from me." 

Xiu Jing leaned back on the sofa and said to Wei Zi unblinking. " He worried about the distance of him and you. You're a young girl with a rigid etiquette that different from this timeline." She also noticed those men's actions. 

But it did not matter much to them. Four of them slaughtered people in war more than most men back in their time. How could they about those female Rules ? 

Xiu Jia lost in her thought. Xiu Jing squeezed Xiu Jing's hand lightly as she also lost in thought. How could they not care about those female rules? They had more important matters than to dress up like those young ladies which was to survived in palace battle and also to revenge. They used to dreamed one day they could be free from all those schemes and could be like others young ladies who always shy and stayed behind their mothers' back but they no longer have mothers. 

Chen Feng lowered his head in gloom when he saw their absentminded. How could he not pity them? They were still childish girls who always run behind Wei Yang's back when he went to practice swordsmanship with him and his brother under Duke Ming's teaching.

The sound of door knocking woke them up from their thoughts. Wei Zi stood up from her and wanted to open the door but Chen Feng got up from the sofa and walked to the door before her. " I will open. You stay there." 

Fang Meng was driving the black and luxurious car to the the hospital. Inside the car was two elegant ladies. They were Ling Shuxiao and Shu Mei. Ling Shuxiao patted Shu Mei's hand and spoke out with her quivering voice. " Will they surprise if we visit them unnoticed like that? " Shu Mei smiled at Ling Shuxiao with her rosy and jet black eyes unlike a 47 years old women. " Don't worry, mother. Mingtian told me that He already told Xiu Jia girl we will pay a visit. " Ling Shuxiao was surprised. " ohh, really? He said that? "

Shu Mei nodded at her. She also shocked when she heard a girl name came out of her youngest son mouth. As his mother, she knew that he dared not to mention any girls names since young because he was afraid his grandma would ask more about those girl's families background or whether he interested in her.

Fang Meng heard the two ladies' conversation and his sweats broke out for Lu Mingtian. Third master, You messed up. My Condolence. 

Lu Mingtian who was in another car behind Fang Meng's car sneezed. " achoo~~ who talked behind my back." He looked up from his phone and glanced at Lu Yanghao and Lu Zhenyu who was in the front seats. " Why are you two so free today? " Two of them normally at the company and barrack. How come they accompany grandmother and mother to visit Wei Yingzhen? 

Lu Zhenyu just glanced at Lu Mingtian blandly. Lu Mingtian rolled his eyes at him. Fine Fine, He used to the straight-faced of his second brother.

Another haft an hour, Their cars arrived at Lu Mingtian's private hospital. Lu Yanghao park the car and walked with along with Lu Zhenyu and Lu Mingtian. 

They walked toward the two ladies and Fang Meng. " Grandma , mom , Let's go." Shu Mei smiled at her three handsome sons. Soon they all arrived in front Wei Yingzhen's ward. Lu Mingtian knocked the door lightly.
