Earlier on the wedding day( At Jordan's Villa)
"I can't believe this is actually becoming a reality.
In a few hours, you will be a married man and I will be the single friend".
Austin joked as he watched his friend get ready for his wedding.
"Also, it's an honor to be your best man".
He continued with a wide grin.
"Although I was not in total support of your choice, I have no choice but to support you completely".
"We will be leaving in five minutes, I don't want us to be late"
"Mom and Dad are on their way there already and we are still here".
"No need to rush, everyone will patiently wait even if you are late".
"Well, I have no intention of getting there late. You know I hate tardiness".
"How boring!
I can't imagine what your marriage will be like.
A boring husband and a scary wife.
Wow! What a match made in heaven".
"The driver is here," Jordan informed Austin before rushing out of the house.
"Calm down and walk slowly, we will be there in a few minutes".
Austin yelled as he struggled to catch up.
The car pulled out of the driveway in a smooth noiseless motion.
He had purchased the car just for today.
Their journey became faster when they hit the highway, the wedding venue is currently about fifteen minutes away.
"You look nervous," Austin joked beside him.
"Far from it-
The rest of his words cut short as their car was suddenly surrounded in the middle of the highway.
"What is going on?" Austin asked nervously.
Jordan took in the formation around them and immediately knew they were in danger.
Touching the glock he had tucked into the inner pocket of his jacket, his expression hardened.
Two men came down from one of the vehicles and approached their car.
One of them knocked on the window and Jordan proceeded to open the door.
"What are you doing?" Austin whispered in shock, his hands trembling as he held him back.
"Stay in the car" Jordan ordered and went out.
The expression on the men face matched his own and they observed each other for a few seconds before one of them spoke.
"Our boss wants to congratulate you on your wedding, what do you think about accompanying us to meet him.
We won't take long" One said with a wide grin.
"Boss specifically asked us to invite you respectfully," the second added, showing off the gun in his hand.
Wordlessly he went with them, Austin watched in terrified silence as they drove off with him.

Jasmine woke up to endless phone calls and text messages.
She spent her early morning answering calls until she decided to ignore any other calls.
It's just a few minutes past seven in the morning and yesterday's issue was already everywhere on the news and internet.
"The wedding of two billionaire heirs in disaster after the groom refused to show up for the wedding".
"The Lewis and The Whytes are now eternal enemies".
"Unbelievable turn of events at the wedding of the biggest families of the country".
Jasmine read on in total wonder at the ridiculous headlines.
Today is going to be hectic.
She realized.
Her thoughts became a quicker reality than she expected when she met a mob of reporters at the entrance of the Company.
Although the crowd was not as much as yesterday, it is still crazy considering the fact that she is a non celebrity.
Jasmine managed to park her car at a safe spot but that did not stop her from being surrounded until the security came to her rescue.
"How do you feel about yesterday's scandal?"
"Why did the groom desert you?"
More questions continue to fly on the air that the company was in a tense mood when she arrived.
"Is everybody here already?"
Jasmine asked her secretary as soon as she got to her office.
She had called for an emergency board meeting, she made up her mind to deal with Jordan Lewis and his family starting from today.
"Yes ma'am, they are all waiting for you".
Rachel answered.
Jasmine left in the direction of the conference hall while giving out the instructions.
Everyone that came across her, moved swiftly out of her way. She looks like she was preparing to go on a battlefield.
Her never smiling face now has a deep frown etched on it.
"Good morning everyone"
Jasmine greeted briefly before sitting down at the head of the table.
A chorus response followed her greeting and all seemed well until someone snickered.
Turning sharply to the direction of the sound.
Before she could talk, the voice spoke up.
"You are supposed to be with your husband this morning on your honeymoon or something along that line, why are you here Ma'am?" The man asked, looking her straight in the eyes.
Ignoring him totally, Jasmine proceeds to the reason for the meeting.
"I call you all here today on such short notice regarding our cooperation with the L&S Group".
"What is it about them?
I thought we were only just about to start doing business with them?"
Someone raised a question.
"Yes, we are canceling every contract and everything with them. Starting from this instance.
Before you all criticize me, remember we were doing fine without them and our cooperation is quite unnecessary.
I have made my decision, and I will be going ahead with it. I believe I have your support".
Jasmine went on, not giving anyone a chance to go against her which made things worse.
"You shouldn't have called us here, if you have made up your mind" Another person spoke up.
"I called you here to inform you, so that you won't be shocked when you find out.
Don't think about walking all over me because of this. I am not my father.
The meeting is over"
Leaving a group of bewildered executives behind, Jasmine storms out of the room. Her mood was relatively worse than when she got inside.
It's been hours since the day broke and she still hasn't received a call or message from Jordan or explanation from his family which was making her feel worse.
"Hello Jasmine".
Jasmine did a double take as she stood a few steps away from the devil swirling in her seat in her office.
How did he get in?
The last time she had set her eyes on him was three years ago before she joined the company.
He was a bane on her existence.
