"What are you doing here?" Jasmine asked, approaching him.
His face broke into a smile that looked more like a sneer than a smile.
"That is not the right thing to say to a friend you have not seen for years," he said chuckling.
"I was never a friend with you, now can you get out?" She ordered pointing towards the door her hands were slightly trembling.
She has a lot she is trying to solve right now and his presence spelt trouble.
"I'm going to leave but before that, I believe I have something you might wanna see" he threw at her before casually bringing out his phone from his pocket.
Jasmine's eyes remained trained on him, she had just argued with some old geezers and needed to find ways to shut down every news about her failed attempt to get married yesterday but here she is entertaining her worst nightmare.
"Here" he said, standing up and approaching her with the screen of the phone lit up.
Jasmine was hellbent on not paying attention to the device but her eyes momentarily caught something and her gaze focused on the screen.
"Jordan?" She questioned in confusion.
"Do I still need to get out now?" He took the phone away and questioned.
Jasmine palms balled up in anger.
"I invited him over for a congratulatory dinner yesterday but you were out of reach. So I have kept him with me since then.
Will you like to see him?" He taunted.
"You kidnapped him?"
"Hmmm, I despise that term."
"What the fuck are you talking about?
My wedding got ruined yesterday and you are telling me that you had my groom?" Jasmine boomed at him.
"Wow, I never knew you were this passionate about getting married.
Have you forgotten our deal?" He asked, his teasing smile nowhere in sight.
Jasmine wished she had a gun and she would have mercilessly put a bullet through his head.
She slowly cursed the day she met him.
But that was years ago, when she was struggling in college.
As if hearing her thoughts, her unexpected visitor brought out a gun from under his jacket and swirled it slowly on a finger.
"I can easily put a bullet through his heart, and I would let him know it was a gift from you".
"What the hell do you want?" Jasmine asked through gritted teeth and he chuckled.
"Nothing much actually, I will give you a call".
"Just let him go" she spat at his retreat back and he waved at her before walking out of the door.

Inside a room, Jordan had his head suspended in thought as he sat on the only couch inside the room.
He had been there for hours and he had lost track of time.
He has been thinking deeply about who the person that had point-blankly kidnapped was but nothing was forthcoming.
He has no recollection of a feud with anyone or a bitter rival to do so.
The door opened and interrupted his thoughts.
He glanced up at one of the cocky men that had brought him here, one of them took his phone and he was more than displeased to see him.
"Boss is back and is waiting for you" the man announced and opened the door for him.
Jordan hesitated a little before he walked towards the door, his face expressionless and unreadable.
The boss was even a bigger confusion to him.
He does not know him at all.
"You don't look pleased to see me," the man said as he walked into a stylishly decorated living room.
"I don't think anyone would be happy to be taken away on their wedding day and missing on the day" Jordan replied in a bored voice but his eyes remained on the boss.
"Jasmine cannot marry you, I was surprised when I heard the news. She belongs to me" he said after a little hesitation.
Jordan's eyes flickered a little showing the effect the words had on him but he remained composed.
"That is none of my business, that is between the two of you" he returned.
"I will only let you go if you promise to stay away from her".
"I don't give my words to people unworthy of it" Jordan's comeback earned him a gun pointed to his head.
"Let me introduce myself properly, people call me Bane. A gatekeeper of hell.
I don't give a fuck about your status in the society, the rules are different in my world.
Stay away from Jasmine or I blow your brains out the next time I see you together" Bane's voice rang through the whole house.
His men watched in silence, Jordan looked back at him nonchalantly.
Bane?
He thought silently, the name was strange and he has never heard of it before and he is sure that is not his real name but just an alias.
"Too bad I don't think I would be doing that" Jordan chuckled and replied.
His hand is currently curled around his glock, if he was fast enough he can get rid of all of them and return home. He plotted silently in his head.
"If I were you I would not do it" Bane warned suddenly his eyes on the hand Jordan had tucked into his jacket.
In a swift motion, Jordan whipped out his weapon and pointed it at him.
pointing it directly at his heart.
Bane chuckled at the act.
"I never knew rich boys are now learning how to hold guns" He commented.
"This rich boy is quite impatient" Jordan replied and a muffled shot rang out.
Everyone in sight ducked except for Jordan and Bane.
They were still pointing their guns at each other but the presence of the person by the door distracted them.
"Are the both of you out of your fucking mind?" Jasmine asked with a gun in her hand.
"Jasmine?" Jordan called out in surprise.
Walking towards them with a frown on her face, she slaps the gun out Bane's hand and gently drags Jordan towards the doorway.
