Torn between passion and power

Entering the hospital, Alex fastened his pace, looking at Avery's pale face his heart trembled. She looked pale and there was a bruise on her face. This made him fasten his pace.

" Alexander." an old man called out to him

Dr. Albert had been waiting for Alex at the entrance, and when he saw Alex getting out of the car without putting the lady on the stretcher he got confused. Alex has never treated a lady like a precious stone before.

He rushed towards him with the nurses pushing the stretcher. They blocked his path.

" Alex, you can't enter the emergency room with her. Pit her on the stretcher." Dr. Albert said

Alex was fighting his inner demons, Avery's life mattered to him more than anything.

" The more you wasn't time, the more you're going to make our work difficult. And the young lady needs treatment."

Alex compromised and placed Avery on the stretcher, he followed the nurses as they pushed it to the room.

"You can't enter man, she needs treatment not you." Samuel stopped him.

" Also we need to talk," Samuel said

Alex didn't want to follow him but he did it anyway. He had to hear what Samuel had to say.

They entered one of the staff rooms not far from the emergency room,

" What do you want to talk about?" Alex said impatiently.

Alex sniggered before looking at Sam.

"I thought you knew what happened? "

" I want to listen to your part of the story Alexander Gibson!"

Alex pocketed his hands before saying;

" Yes, I punched him, so what? He disgusts me. That's why I did that."

" You freak, I can't believe you. Tell me the fucking reason. I know you didn't just punch him out of the blue. He must have done something." Sam bellowed

The silence was driving Sam crazy until he realized something

" You punched him because of Avery, didn't you? Since the day Avery started working for you, you've been acting weird. What the fuck? What happened to the policy in the company?"

" Haha, are you asking me? Then care to explain what happened between you and Suzzy in Italy."

" Wipe that shitty thing from your face."

Alex shook his head before leaving, he can't waste another time with his asshole, his baby was waiting for her.

Leaving Samuel behind, Samuel, stood there lost in thoughts. He was happy for his friend, he was happy Alex had found love.

"Suzzy, I'm sorry," he murmured under his breath

After saying that he got out of the staff room, however, he paused when he saw that particular person in front of the door.

" I want to thank you for saying, my friend."

"It's fine. I would do anything for you."

Suzzy looked at him before saying;

Before she could open the door, her wrist was held, she turned to look at Samuel;

" I'm sorry, I'm sorry for everything I did to you. Can we go back to how we were? I promised you I wouldn't even look at another girl "
