Chapter 8 : Status Panel

The warm rays of sunlight gently pierced through the clouds, weaving their light onto the branches of the trees in the Uchiha clan's training yard.

The dancing shadows between light and dark gave the place a tranquility tinged with unbroken focus.

In the middle of this yard, there was a small boy, no older than five or six years, running with speed and determination. His facial expressions were firm, and his features were filled with resolve.

He wore an outfit bearing the Uchiha crest, the famous flaming fan. On his shoulders, he carried light weights, yet his movements were smooth, as if the weights didn't hinder his steps.

He began running, his voice filled with enthusiasm, "Today, I'll give it my all. I want to be stronger!"

Isamu was preparing for an intense training session. He sprinted towards the forest, the place where he used to train with his grandfather in shuriken throwing.

He caught his breath and recalled the memories of how his grandfather used to gently guide him during their dawn training.

Smiling as he recalled, "He always told me: 'Enough training is the path to becoming a qualified ninja!'"

The path was familiar, and running on it had become part of his daily training ritual. He moved across the leaf-covered ground, which muffled the sound of his steps.

Despite carrying additional weights that, in his previous life, would have been considered child abuse and reported to the police for someone his age, Isamu showed no signs of fatigue.

His movements were fast and steady, as if the weights were just another part of his body. He moved lightly, as if he wouldn't stop until he drained all his energy.

As he ran, Isamu began to focus on synchronizing his breathing with his steps, trying to feel the flow of energy within his body. Every breath he took only reinforced his determination and endurance.

Speaking to himself while running, "I need to endure more. The closer I get to my body's limits, the more effective the training will be."

At that moment, Isamu decided to change his training routine. He suddenly stopped and began performing jumping exercises and sprints, attempting to improve his flexibility and speed.

His steps echoed through the area, as if he were racing against the wind.

After several minutes of intense training, signs of exhaustion began to appear on him, but he didn't let that stop him. He continued pushing forward, despite his body screaming for rest. He was determined to keep going.

Isamu: (breathing heavily but resolute) "I can't give up now... I can't repeat the mistakes of my past habits. This world is not like the one before; a weak will could cost me my life in the future!"

As he continued training, his energy surged with every movement. After a long period of running, he finally stopped. He sat down to rest, breathing deeply, his body exhausted.

As for the question of what he was doing? The clear answer was training, particularly to improve his physical fitness.

The reason? Because he knew that chakra was closely tied to the body and spirit, but few understood how to truly enhance the spirit.

Thus, most people focused primarily on strengthening the body, as it seemed easier and more straightforward—a more direct path to refining chakra effectively.

Isamu was no exception; he wasn't a healer or a spiritual trainer in his past life.

As for why he didn't start trying to practice other exercises like tree climbing and water walking, which aim to improve chakra control?

Isamu's answer was that any time traveler in his current physical age, like him, who thinks about practicing those should find a way back to watching Naruto in the real world.

Moreover, gradual learning is an essential part of the training philosophy in the ninja world. Children are first taught the basic techniques, and then they are gradually introduced to more challenging exercises after mastering the fundamentals.

The most important reason was that these exercises required a suitable amount of chakra, in addition to deep concentration on how to distribute energy within the body.

Younger children usually have less physical strength and a smaller chakra pool, making it difficult for them to perform techniques that require continuous, long-term training to be effective, such as tree climbing and water walking.

As the saying goes, "When in Rome, do as the Romans do." So, in the four months that passed after the clan meeting, Isamu chose to focus on improving his body and physical fitness, knowing that this was always the foundation.

When Isamu returned home after a long day of grueling training, his feet could barely carry him. The sun had begun to set, and its golden rays filtered through the trees, casting a peaceful glow over the village.

Despite the beauty of the scene, Isamu felt utterly exhausted. His small body, though relatively strong compared to his peers, ached from the intense exercises.

He entered the house and quickly removed his ninja shoes, as if lifting a heavy burden off his feet. He headed to the bathroom, where he immersed himself in cold water, helping him regain some energy.

The water was refreshing, washing away the fatigue and giving him a sense of relief.

After finishing his bath, he headed straight to his room. His steps were light and quiet, as he had learned from his training, trying not to make any noise.

Once inside, he closed the door behind him and took a quick glance at the simple room.

He sat on his bed, staring at the dark ceiling, then whispered in a barely audible voice: "Status Panel."

Suddenly, a light screen appeared before his eyes, as if it were part of his mind, displaying his personal details:
