Darkdevil

Dr. Srinivasan was meticulously checking his brother Ram's body, monitoring every vital sign, each muscle twitch, ensuring everything was stable and safe.

"Brother," Ram asked softly, "when will I get the powers?"

Dr. Srinivasan gave a small sigh and answered, "It will take some time, Ram. Powers like these don't come all at once. For now, focus on resting and letting the process work naturally."

Ram nodded, leaning back into his pillow, and soon drifted into sleep.

As Dr. Srinivasan prepared to leave, feeling the exhaustion of his own work settle in, he muttered, "Maybe I need some rest too." He had barely closed his eyes when a cold, unsettling presence filled the room. A dark, swirling energy began to form near him, shadows curling together until they took the vague shape of a figure.

A chilling voice spoke from within the darkness, "You're the doctor, aren't you?"

Dr. Srinivasan, unsettled but maintaining his composure, responded, "Yes, I am Dr. Srinivasan. Who are you, and what do you want?"

The dark energy pulsed, and the voice replied, "I am from the dark world. My hatred for celestial beings burns endlessly."

"Celestial beings?" Dr. Srinivasan repeated, his confusion clear.

"Yes," the voice continued, its tone sharp with disdain. "The celestials, they are the ones who control the galaxy ring, maintaining their twisted sense of order across worlds."

Dr. Srinivasan, trying to grasp the situation, said, "Your words are confusing."

"More will become clear in time," the entity assured him. "For now, I know you need pure blood from Medusa, am I right?"

Dr. Srinivasan's heart raced. "Yes, but… how do you know that?"

"I know more than you think," the entity replied. "I am Darkdevil, an enemy of the celestial order. I was sealed in the dark world by a celestial named Shan. I need your help to escape this prison."

Dr. Srinivasan's interest piqued. "Who is this Shan?"

The dark figure replied, "Shan is Rosey's beloved, her supposed savior."

Dr. Srinivasan chuckled slightly. "Oh, she always goes on about her boyfriend being her protector. I thought it was just her delusion."

Darkdevil's voice grew intense. "Shan is not just her lover; he's the Celestial King now. His power has no limits. He's the one who trapped me, sealed me away in darkness to keep me from reaching my full strength."

Dr. Srinivasan muttered under his breath, "Sounds... creepy."

"I don't have much time left in this form," Darkdevil warned, his voice becoming faint. "Listen, Doctor, once you have consumed the pure blood of Medusa, use the strength you gain to release me. Help me escape from the dark world."

The room dimmed as the dark energy began to dissipate, but just before it faded completely, Darkdevil added, "Together, we can bring balance to the worlds and strike back against the celestials."

And with that, the darkness vanished, leaving Dr. Srinivasan alone, the room feeling emptier than before. He sat there, digesting the strange encounter and wondering what role he was about to play in the cosmic battle between dark and light. For the first time in years, a shiver of both fear and excitement ran down his spine.

Dr. Srinivasan lay down in his bed, his mind still lingering on his strange encounter with Darkdevil. Fatigue eventually overtook him, and he drifted into a deep, restless sleep.

Meanwhile, Amon and Medusa walked through the quiet evening streets, making their way to the park where they usually met Jehovah. Tonight, however, Jehovah was nowhere to be found. After waiting a while, Amon finally said, "Looks like he's not coming today. Let's head back, Medusa. We can try again tomorrow evening."

Medusa nodded. "Alright, let's go."

As they walked away from the park, Amon glanced at Medusa thoughtfully. "What do you think about that hero who rescued the girl from the fire the other day?" he asked.

Medusa's face lit up with admiration. "I think he's really impressive! And more importantly, he wasn't affected by the injection Dr. Sin gave us."

Amon stopped, surprise crossing his face. "Wait—how do you know that?"

Medusa shrugged, her expression serious. "Everyone's been talking about him. They say he got his powers from a special bangle. That's why the police are trying so hard to get their hands on it."

Amon's eyes narrowed, thoughts racing through his mind. "If that's true, then maybe he could help us. He might have answers about Dr. Sin's injection…and even about our powers."

Medusa looked at him, understanding his unspoken thoughts. "You're right, Amon. We could really use his help."

Amon nodded with determination. "Then we need to find him and see if he's willing to talk. Whatever he knows, it might be the key to solving the mystery we're caught in."

Yohan pulled his mask over his face, adjusting it with a determined look. Ready to take on his hero duties, he stepped into the bustling streets. Almost instantly, people around him began to cheer and point, recognizing the masked figure. "Look, it's that hero!" they shouted, excitement building as a crowd quickly gathered around him.

Curious voices echoed through the crowd. "What's your name, hero?" someone called out.

With a confident stance, Yohan replied, "My name is Bandman. But I have important work to do, so please excuse me!" He gave a quick nod and broke free from the crowd, heading down a quieter street.

As he turned a corner, Yohan spotted a man being harassed by a group of thieves. Without hesitation, he leaped into action, landing a powerful kick to one of the thieves' backs. The group turned around, momentarily stunned, then burst into laughter.

"Who are you supposed to be with that weird mask?" one of them sneered.

Unfazed, Yohan replied, "I am Bandman." The thieves laughed louder, mocking his name.

But one of them decided to take things further and drew a gun, aiming straight at Yohan. He fired, but to his surprise, the bullets seemed to slow down mid-air as they approached Bandman. Yohan smiled. "Just what I wanted," he muttered, dodging the bullets with ease.

The thieves' faces shifted from cocky to shocked, and as they attempted to attack, Bandman moved faster than they could follow. He countered each punch, landing his own with blinding speed, leaving them reeling. Overwhelmed, the thieves turned and fled, not daring to face him any longer.

The man they had been threatening approached Yohan, relief and gratitude in his eyes. "Thank you so much for saving me!"

Bandman nodded, giving him a reassuring smile. "Don't worry; Bandman is here to help you." And with that, he disappeared down the street, ready for whatever challenge awaited him next.
