Calling Tari

"Have you had lunch?" Cindy asked.

"Not yet, Auntie." Roy replied, Cindy shook her head again.

"Okay, now get in the car, let's have lunch outside!" Cindy invited, Roy nodded his head then got into the luxury car belonging to the company CEO.

Like having lunch together a few days ago, Cindy again invited Roy to chat while enjoying the menu that was ordered.

"Do you know that Dion and his friends treated you inappropriately?" Cindy asked, Roy just shook his head.

"Next time, don't ever do it again, to the point where you ignore your break and lunch hours. Did you hear that? I warned them not to repeat it again, ordering you outside your work provisions as an OB in my office," Cindy said.

"Yes, Auntie, I will not be willing for them to order you outside again because that is not my job and responsibility as an OB in your office." Roy said.

"Good, listen Roy, your job as an OB in my office is in accordance with the established procedures. Don't you always have an assembly every morning led by the Head of OB?" Cindy warned.

"Yes, Auntie, every morning we do have an assembly and are briefed by Bang Romi as the Head of OB." Roy confirmed what Cindy said about the habits of OBs every morning before starting work in her office.

"Do you remember again, Roy? Whoever it is in my office is not allowed to order you to do something outside of your duties and responsibilities as an OB, unless I ask or you really have a need to go out." Cindy said firmly.

"Okay, Auntie." Roy said to make sure and then they went back to enjoying the lunch menu at the luxurious restaurant.

****

The incident of Dion being scolded by Cindy for ordering Roy out to buy a pen and also photocopying files for her interests, was quickly known by all employees including the OBs at Cindy's company office.

Most of them have started to believe that Roy is Cindy's nephew, although some still don't believe it, but they don't dare to act arbitrarily to Roy like Dion did.

At most, those who don't believe only dare to gossip behind Roy's back, because they think that if Roy is Cindy's nephew, why would Cindy only employ Roy as an office cleaner in her office.

As for Cindy herself, after knowing that Roy has been treated badly by Dion and maybe others in the past few days, she was annoyed and is currently looking for a solution so that Roy is not treated like that again.

An office telephone on a table in one of the rooms rang, a woman sitting on a chair between the tables picked it up.

"Hello, good afternoon!" she said.

"Good afternoon Tari, come here for a moment, I need something!" said another woman on the office phone line.

"Okay, ma'am, I'll be right there." said the woman who was called Tari, after the phone call was hung up she stood up from her seat and met the woman who had just called and told her to come to the room of the woman who was called Mother.

"Knock.. Knock... Knock..!" a knock on the door of a room was heard.

"Yes, please come in!" a voice called from inside the room.

Tari opened the door and entered the room, after closing the door she approached the table where the woman she had called Mother, who was none other than Cindy Dealova, the CEO of the company, was sitting.

"Please sit down!" Cindy invited her.

"Thank you, Ma'am." said Tari, then she sat on the chair in front of the table facing Cindy.

"What's wrong, Ma'am?" continued Tari.

"Actually, it's nothing, because I called you here, it has nothing to do with office work. I just wanted to ask what you think about Roy, whom I hired as an OB in this office?" said Cindy.

"I think Roy is a diligent person and his work is very good as an OB," answered Tari.

"Yes, in fact, he is too good and diligent that he even does work that is not his job and responsibility," said Cindy.

Tari frowned, "What do you mean?"

Cindy smiled and shook her head, "Yesterday afternoon when I went downstairs to meet Roy and intended to invite him to lunch outside, he wasn't there. I asked the security guard, he said that Roy was out buying pens and photocopying Dion's files, an employee in the marketing department…"

"Wow…! Isn't that not the job of an office assistant, Ma'am?" Tari was surprised.

"Hmm, that's why I said earlier that Roy was too diligent and kind that Dion treated him carelessly. Of course I was annoyed and scolded Dion yesterday afternoon," Cindy said after smiling, feeling like she couldn't believe what Dion had done to Roy.

"Then, has Mrs. Cindy met Roy?" Tari asked.

"Yes, that afternoon when he came back from buying pens and photocopying Dion's files," Cindy answered.

"Then Mrs. Cindy told Roy that what he did was not the job and responsibility of an office assistant?" Cindy seemed to nod her head in response to Tari's question.

"Where do you think I should put Roy in this office besides being a janitor? While he's only a high school graduate," Cindy asked.

"Well, Mrs. Cindy is the CEO of this company so wherever you put Roy won't be a problem," Tari replied.

"What you said is true, but I also don't want the employees to think that I'm giving Roy special treatment even though he's my nephew," Cindy said.

Tari frowned again "Then..."
