Chapter 393: Momo's Method?

At the Kaminari residence in Saitama City, Kaminari had been staying alone in the Quirk training room on the top floor since returning home. Neither his parents nor Tetsutetsu were allowed to enter.

This left his parents deeply anxious. His father hadn't gone to work, instead sitting on the sofa smoking nonstop. Over a dozen cigarette butts were piled in the ashtray.

"Kaminari hasn't eaten in a day and a night…" his mother said tearfully, her eyes red.

The family's pet Pikachu lay on the floor with a sorrowful expression, while their other pet, Leib, sat silently in the corner due to its low intelligence.

Let go of the dreams and future carved into your heart. Even if you abandon the future, it's okay.

I don't care about boundaries. They mean nothing.

At that moment, a ringtone began playing from the phone on the coffee table—it was "only my railgun."

It was Kaminari's phone. He hadn't even brought Pikachu into the room with him, let alone his phone.

His mother wiped her tears, took a deep breath to steady her emotions, and answered the call.

"Oh my god, I just thought of a way to find Kyoka!"

Meanwhile, at the Yaoyorozu estate, Momo stood in front of a high-end computer, her Eevee squatting at her feet.

Since returning home, she had asked her father to use the family's resources to help search for Kyoka, while also brainstorming ideas herself.

In truth, even if she hadn't said anything, the Yaoyorozu family would still be helping. And perhaps the entire nation of Japan was searching for the League of Villains now.

But just moments ago, as she subconsciously picked up Eevee, a sudden spark of inspiration struck her—and she caught it.

Logically, she should have informed U.A. or the police immediately upon thinking of a feasible plan. But instead, she chose to tell Kaminari Denki first. The plan required his help.

"Really, Yaoyorozu-san?!"

But the voice she heard on the phone wasn't Kaminari's—it was his mother, full of surprise.

"Auntie? Isn't this Kaminari's number?" Momo asked, confused. Then she quickly learned about Kaminari's current state.

"Kaminari…" For some reason, the thought of him shutting himself off tightened her chest. She quickly said, "Auntie, I'm heading over now!"

She immediately rushed out of her room with Eevee in tow. She knew what Kaminari needed most right now—hope. And she was the one bringing it.

"Wait for me, Kaminari!"

Back at the Kaminari home, both parents lit up with joy. They stood up quickly and rushed to the elevator.

"Let's go tell him the news!"

"Pika?" Pikachu followed closely behind them.

Soon, the family reached the top floor. As the elevator doors opened, they found Tetsutetsu sitting in front of the electronic door, his face filled with despair.

This didn't surprise them. Tetsutetsu had been there since returning. Although Kaminari had told him it wasn't his fault before locking himself in, he hadn't listened.

In Tetsutetsu's mind, it was his fault for not keeping a better eye on Kyoka. Whether as a classmate, a friend, or Kaminari's best friend, he believed he had failed.

What he didn't know was that, on the other side of the door, Kaminari had been sitting blankly on the floor this entire time.

That door had become a steel wall between the two of them.

"Tetsutetsu, Tetsutetsu!" Kaminari's parents exchanged glances before his father stepped forward, knelt beside him, and gently patted his shoulder.

"Uncle… Uncle…" Tetsutetsu slowly looked up. His face was streaked with tears, and his sleeves were soaked through.

"Don't blame yourself anymore. What's done is done. We have to face it head-on." Kaminari's father sighed. "Momo just called. She says she might have a way to find Kyoka."

Hearing that, Tetsutetsu's eyes widened, filled with hope and surprise. "Really… really?! That's great!"

"Yeah, so we came up to tell Kaminari. Momo said she's on her way." Kaminari's mother nodded eagerly. All she wanted was for her son to come out.

As Tetsutetsu stood up, Kaminari's father pressed the doorbell to the Quirk training room, but just like before, there was no response.

The three of them fell silent. They had pressed it multiple times already, all without success.

"What do we do? Even if Momo gets here, she won't be able to get inside!" Kaminari's mother said anxiously.

His father frowned deeply. They didn't know the password to the electronic lock—Kaminari had set it himself, and they normally never came to this floor.

"Let's wait for Momo to arrive. Even if we saw Kaminari now, we wouldn't know how to explain the plan anyway."

His mother and Tetsutetsu nodded in agreement. The three of them waited quietly. Around forty minutes later, the elevator chimed.

The three turned to look—and sure enough, Momo arrived with Eevee in her arms, her phone still clutched tightly.

"Uncle, Auntie, Tetsutetsu!"

"Yaoyorozu-san, you're finally here! What's the plan?!" Tetsutetsu stepped forward urgently.

"Where's Kaminari?" Momo asked. Her gaze turned to the tightly sealed electronic door. "Is he still inside?"

"Yeah, we've rung the doorbell a bunch, but there's been no reaction," Tetsutetsu said helplessly.

"Then break it down!" Momo made a firm decision. "Smashing the door will let Kaminari know it's an emergency!"

Tetsutetsu blinked, then nodded hard. "Uncle, Auntie, please step back. I'll knock it down!"

"Go for it!" Kaminari's father responded, pulling his wife toward Momo.

"Haaah—hoo—" Tetsutetsu took a deep breath, then activated his Quirk. His whole body turned into hardened steel.

"Kaminari! Come out!"

With full force, he kicked the door, adding his own "Tempest Kick" technique.

BOOM!!!

As expected, the standard steel door couldn't withstand the impact and shattered instantly.

"What are you doing?!" Inside, Kaminari glared at Tetsutetsu, sparks of electricity crackling around him.

If he hadn't sensed danger and instinctively entered "High-Speed Movement Mode" to dodge, he might have been injured.

"Kaminari! We can find Kyoka!" Momo rushed over and shouted.

"Momo…"

Kaminari stood frozen. Then he looked at Momo's face, full of concern.

He didn't know how she got here—but that didn't matter.

"What's the plan?"
