around the saintess' bumble bush

The Empire of Astrolis was well known for its divine power, the emperor Ronald von Astrolis the Third was the only heir left standing after the bloody war for the throne, and under his rule, the land of Astrolis went from a kingdom to an empire just under 40 years, with the development of the empire he promised more to the people.

Under the ruling empire were 4 duchies stemming in the north south west and east, they served as the foundation for the empire, and united they made up the empire of Astrolis. The Duchy of the South. The West had the most fertile lands, bringing in most of the crops and farmers, the ruling family was put in charge of the national treasury and given the name De Liander, those who served. In the east was where the most divinity was born from, bringing up the temple, saints, and saintesses whose divinity topped all other empires they were named De Whitlock, providers of divinity. The South was acknowledged for its scholars who rivaled none, their diversity and inclusivity to all knowledge and brought up the empire's most famous school, accepting to all gained them the name De Elrod, the ones who know. The last duchy and the most powerful was the north, over the generations the North had been known as the defendants of the empire, they won all wars leaving behind no trace of rebellion or war, known as the emperor's lap dog, the coldest walls of humanity they were given the name Von Moorefrost, the protector.

The novel 'Around the Saintess' Bumble Bush' was an 18+ novel that sparked a lot of controversies for its morality and vulgar nature.

The saintess Artemis was born a commoner a golden beauty, her looks alone were comparable to a garden she had a petite build, with long golden hair, soft pale skin, green eyes, and a honeyed voice .born and raised in the North Fortress working as a hand servant for the princess of the north Lyryka Von Moorefrost. Artemis had been a playmate and personal made to Lyryka the daughter of Frost, a child with hauntingly pale blue eyes, snow white hair, and a tall build, until their 10th birthday when she was discovered to have a massive amount of affinity to divinity, under the North duke's guidance she was sent away to the east to become a saintess under the patronage of the frost duke. After becoming a saintess well known for her kindness and beauty artemis had quickly gone from being a handmaiden to being dubbed the golden lily of astrolis, one who could do no wrong. Artemis left the temple returning to the north to replay the duke's kindness.

Not only was the golden lily of Astrolis generous shed also found a way to be recognized by the frost duke her patron, who she soon called 'father'. Anything Artemis touched was bound to be worth a life, she could warm anyone thus being unable to do no wrong in anyone's eyes. Artemis was faced with many conflicting emotions and trials, the first being when she fell in love with her sister's fiance Stelion de Liander, a tall striking man with extreme intelligence, he had long black hair, and piercing dark purple eyes, skilled in swordsmanship, and his friend the imperial crown prince Theodore Von Astrolis 'the miracle prince' a child that came even as a surprise to the empress and emperor. and both men loved her dearly, however in respect for her mistress who she called her sister Artemis stepped back unwilling to cave to any form of adultery.

During the debutante ball meant to introduce Artemis and Lyryka, was when the villainess first appeared apparently none other than Lyryka von Moorefrost, blinded with jealousy of how Artemis had stolen everything that seemed to be hers, her father, her fiance, and her role. Lyryka spills wine over Artemis' white dress, driving her away from the scene of the ball but also ruining her reputation. In her time of need, Stelios and Theodore rush to her need presenting her with a new dress and their first two dances, leaving Lyryka to sink one more into the background. Seeing so much of what she assumed to be lyrykas hate towards her Artemis accepts the advances made by the Stelios that starts the life of the adulterous life and complicated web of the three protagonists.

The story puts a golden light on Artemis' choices by her being the only saintess strong enough to cure the plague and fighting in a war alongside the duke, securing her place as the first non-blood heir. Coming back from the war with a new title although they'd won they'd lost many including the Duke. lyryka's wedding is also thrown into disarray when Artemis comes back pregnant, Stelios de Liander ends up marrying both sisters, Artemis as his first wife and Lyryka as a second wife promised to regain her position after Artemis's birth and shunned . Going crazy from how much she's lost, Lyryka plans to kill Artemis, not caring if it causes her life. Her plan is cut short when her lady-in-waiting tells Artemis that, caught in the act Lyryka is trialed and sentenced to death by hanging for attempted assassination against a duchess. The book quickly wraps up by telling us of Artemis' life after the birth of her twins and life as a duchess. with the support of the northern duchy, The crown prince, The then duke of the West and the temple she rivaled even the empress,

a truly happy-go-lucky book however many readers had many problems with it. Could Lyryka really be called a villainess? Should Artemis really have been forgiven? The pacing had been off, why hadn't the readers got a deeper evaluation of the book?

Split in decisions half of the readers believed it was a common occurrence and it wasn't wrong to go for someone if they truly loved them back, after mistresses and lovers were normal in earlier times,

But me?
