Carter spent most of his days with his band members. Whether during training or just hanging out after practice, they were practically family to him, as much as he was to them. Though the studio was initially a maze of obstacles—walls to bump into and air to trip over—Carter now had the layout memorised. Well, at least the studio; the rest of the shop remained a mystery.
The competition loomed closer, and preparations were in full swing. Lucky for the band, the venue, a local auditorium called Panggung Budaya—literally "Cultural Theatre" in Malay—wasn't far from Kokomi's and Albert's campus. Despite living nearby, Carter had never been there. He hadn’t needed a reason until now.
