My joy knew no bound I was so excited that finally I will be living for college soon that's the university.

Though I was 16 years old with big stature 😂 people mistake me of been 18+ because of my great stature. Things seems to very fast and I can't wait to make new friends .

Immediately my dad came back we broke the news to my dad and he was also happy about my success . Of course why won't he be happy when his second and most loved darling daughter was about entry into the university.

"Darling make sure you get prepared oohk on Monday we are heading to the market to buy you some provisions and everything you are going to be needing in the university" , My mom said ,

I was inside my room selecting the dress I was going to wear to church the next day ...

The time went very fast. Now it was around 2:14am and everyone was asleep , I was lying with my head rested on my pillow and my stomach towards the bed ... I was thinking about my life, I was thinking of I was going to cope in the university, how I was going to relate to my new environment. I stood up and place my fair feet on the cold floor and ended to where my pinky window was and opened it gentle.

I observe that the atmosphere was a bit quiet I could only hear the sounds of trees dancing to the tune of the breeze with few birds going back to their nests. I wish I was free like the bird...

My dream was to become a successful doctor and before I could purchase this dream . I needed to work hard and avoid distractions .

All through the night I was thinking about my school and everything without knowing when I fell asleep.

It was Sunday morning I had already done my house chores very quick and went back upstairs to prepare for breakfast .

I dressed my self in a pinky frequece material coupleed with my silver necklace and my earnings. I wore my ash high heel together with my ash shiny back to look good. Then I made my hair in packing gel still using an edge control to style the front of my hair.

I Appeared in the mirror very beautiful and unique . After I took few pictures of myself I headed downstairs for breakfast

" Oh darling you look so stunning this morning come sit and have some breakfast", my mom said. I could sense some jealousy in my Mimi's eyes.

" Why are you so jealous" , I snapped at her

" I don't have your time this beautiful morning before you give me bad luck '', my sister snapped back.

"That's oohk girls we are running late and we need to be very fast about it", My dad said taking his last drop of tea.

We finished our breakfast why mom carried the cups and flat plate to the kitchen .

My church was a pentecostal church . I loved my church for some reasons especially the during praises and worship. But when it comes to sermons I wasn't interested at all I felt like sleeping during semons. My church has a very huge building , with a broad gallery. The floor of the church was made of fine white tiles with so many A .C I can't count . From the entrance of the door of the church to the alter was well decorated with creamy colour . The church was divided into .... Let me say ... Oh I can't say but I will say the church had children hall where only children from age 0-12 stays , then the teenage hall and so on

I forgot to tell you that the church also had another hall for Sunday school classes.

The adult classes down to the children classes depends on the age.

You can also call it Adult department, youth department and children department. Nevertheless even though I was 16 I was in the youth department because I liked it there

The Sunday school lessons was about to start 2 min later.

Everyone had gone to there various classes for lectures . Every lectures was supposed to start from 8:30-9:30am if am not mistaken. So we all settled down in our own class when the Sunday school teacher began.

" Our topic for this morning will be talking about faith...'' he paused .

" What do you understand by the word faith'', he asked us generally I knew the answer so I raised up my hands . Luckily for me he pointed at me

" Sir with my own understanding faith is the substance of things hope for evidence not seen", I said

" A round of applause for her please" , he said and I majestically sat down on my seat feeling proud of myself....

We were done with church so everyone went to there various homes.

When we got home I was so exhausted . And feeling tired so I needed enough rest . Mummy was already making lunch when I perceived the aroma of her food the tiredness went away magically I was happy because food was ready.

" Darling don't forget o that you will be following me to the market to buy you what you will be needing ''. My mom reminded me

" Yes mom but mom what about my accommodation will I be staying alone?" ,I added her

" Of course not dummy ", Mimi interrupted me.

" Asshole I wasn't taking to you ", I said and hissed at her

" Actually you will be staying in the girls hostels for the main time till we sort out your permeant accomodation", My mom said.

And I just nodded .

I was alone in my room when my mom knocked snapping me out of my thoughts

" Can I come in" , My mom asked politely. I stood up to get the door for my mom.

My sat beside me on the bed and took a deep breath and looked at me passionately.

" You know I married your dad a virgin "

" Yes mom you told us"

" Very good and I want to the same for you and your sister. You know campus life is not as easy as you think it is my dear...

In campus you have to keep yourself low avoid bad companies that might lead you to the wrong path...

University as a lot and whole lot of distractions but if you work hard and face your studies you will not experience it

My dear university is fi people who are strong. If you are not strong you will be mislead by others most especially by friends that claims they love you

And some boys that will come to give you material things all in the name of love so it will get Into your head and you know one thing?", she asked

" What?",.

" They only want your pride as woman that's your virginity....

I can't write in words the amount of advice my mother gave to me but all I know is that she gave me the best advice a mother will give to her child. She told me alot of stories of what happened to some people that were led astray by their friends.

She also told me to be spiritually minded and prayerfull and always put God first in everything I was doing. I embraced her advice with open arms... But will it last? Will I let my friends lead me astray well I don't know yet.

On Monday afternoon My mom and I prepared to go to the market to buy my stuffs I was so excited. She bought me provisions such as quarter bag of rice and beans, one roll of tomato paste, hot pepper, 5 packs of Maggie, 1 buckets of onions and dry pepper, crayfish, vegetables it was much sha

She bought me new pairs of shoes slippers, I even insisted she bought me wig , she bought me a lot of clothes two and jewelries, and two new traveling bags

Though I was Only going to stay for some time in the hostile until the accomodation stuffs is been sorted out.

Through out the night I was preparing myself for tomorrow journey.... A journey of sad and happy ending
